I have zero problems with this on Lineage. ?? No spoofing either, just Lineage.

Oh im not defending it. Just saying we’ve been well-fed geese for a very long time now. It has just changed from cramming us full of the Tootsie Pop Owl and the Doublemint Twins with a chaser of Sears Christmas Catalog to a succotash of targeted ads.

I had no idea this was going on. Is it because I’m running Lineage?

No different than the decades of ad supported broadcast television.
- Comment on 3-2-1 Backups: How do you do the 1 offsite backup? 4 weeks ago:
Same - can sync snapshots from Truenas to Backblaze.
If you want to get real fancy you could stash an N40L cube server at your mom’s house where she will never find it and VPN back to your local network and replicate snapshots to it

Living next to a few short-term rentals, it is so extremely creepy to have various large groups of people in and out, staring at you and your stuff, blocking the street with Ubers and scooters, and you only think it’s quiet because you’re the house making all the noise.
It sucks to make a neighborhood a nice place to live only to have all that leeched for profit selling to bachelorette parties full of girls going WOOO at 1 AM.

How expensive is expensive? And you usually can’t just buy a single license, right? You have to have an enterprise agreement and buy some minimum number.

The click and distortion is the auto degaussing. Probably happens because the power button is stuck down. You used to push and hold on some models to degauss.
