I do those things too and want to add; washing your hands. It’s so damn simple. When I get off work, when I get home from being out, just washing my hands seems to have absolutely killed my constant battling sickness.
Walk in door, put down car keys, take off jacket or coat or cardigan or sweater, wash hands. Done. Haven’t been sick in ages.

In a move I’m going to regret forever, I’ll admit to the internet that I love being cuddle-fucked for literally as long as I can get it. (There’s a catch- has to be my boyfriend.)
More than an hour and about 15 minutes and we’ll probably need some lube, though.

Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians call “boomer” at will to their elders. There is a pestilence upon this land. Nothing is sacred.

Not exclusive to IT; I had to weigh the benefits of continuing to work as a caregiver for a small company, versus working in retail for a massive chain (which translates to fantastic insurance benefits.)
Sadly not a competition.

I’m pretty open with my struggles with depression and how I managed to actually overcome them with persistence and treatment. So, no, we’re not.
Won’t be lettin strangers on the internet erase all my hard work.

Society.
Have you seen how people treat a girl who is open about wanting sex? It’s not good.
- Comment on In honor of the start spooky season (yay!), I have a question about an apparently beloved spooky meme/skit. What about "David S. Pumpkins" is so funny? 1 month ago:
I’ve never seen it before now, and I loved it. (If you’re reading this and haven’t seen it, go watch it, because the one thing someone else mentioned in a comment would’ve been funny if I wasn’t expecting it.)
The end of the bit was what really did it for me.

I would absolutely buy the remake. I tried playing this on my ps slim last year and new TVs make it very difficult to see the squares lining up to chain your attacks.
I can still do a few on rhythm alone but most of them are impossible…

Honestly, I’m here for it. I get that there are folks mad that a previously unnamed daughter of Helm is now a whole main character, I could even agree that the name “Hera” is a little too Earth’s history, but this looks like a good time.
I also like the idea that bucking gender norms is something that happened to be in Eowyn’s bloodline.

That “hit the wall” stuff is always hilariously transparent. It’s a self-soothe. “She won’t be worth it in a few years anyway so you’re missing out.”
I’m 38 and the wall where I stop getting unwanted attention sure never seems to come. Which is disappointing. I’m really looking forward to my crone era.

I’ve been open on the fediverse about my background.
The problem with being a major depressive for the first 36 years of your life is, you meet a lot of friends in treatment, and statistically, many of them don’t make it.
I recently surprised myself by telling the boyfriend two stories back-to-back and hearing myself say, “they died in (x) year.” Some of us outlive others. Some of us outlive a lot of others. That just makes those of is who make it all the more precious, and makes the example we lead that much more critical.
(Yes. 36 years of depression. And yes. It was actually worth it to live through it and get to the other side.)
