I agree he’s pretty one note but I do think it works for that and Men in Black. He’s a detective in both so yeah, not a lot of range, but it was more subdued from wacky to just sarcastic in I, Robot. I do like sarcastic jerk as a character type which may say something about me.

Look I don’t particularly like him as a person but it’s hardly a controversial opinion to say he’s a good actor. That was one of his better roles imo.

Only if it’s taking me to a 24 hour show of I, ROBOT BITCH! Sorry that was aggressive.

And Affleck was nowhere close to the worst thing thing in those movies…

What?! I, Robot was great!

No no, don’t go around giving people the impression you ARE a lawyer, because that is illegal. But schooling yourself in their tactics and knowing the processes is very useful.

I bet salt water has killed more people than both of them combined.

That’s fine and all but what we really need to be talking about is poor bread to filling ratio.

While I’m sure that was the intent of the AI prompt, I’ve never had a garage door break in such a way that you couldn’t just lift it, plus he clearly is coming home from work, not going to it.

That would make too much sense, this is right in SLC. Course that doesn’t necessarily discount the meth factor…

Are you made at them for using the term or mad at someone else for coining the term? Or mad at everyone for using a term you had never heard before?
- Comment on DOOM: The Dark Ages Has Reportedly Sold Less Than 1 Million Copies 2 months ago:
Then you are either willfully ignorant or a troll, in either case not worth my time.

That term is decades old, it’s fine if you haven’t heard it before but maybe consider that possibility before replying like that and looking like an asshole.

I agree that overuse of them is an issue, but damn they come in handy more than I thought it would… Mine is at least electric, and cleaning out dusty stuff (fans, cars, rugs, etc) is so quick and easy… I almost never use mine for grass or leaves.

You told people to do more research. I did research and it proved you wrong. Then you claimed my literal quotes were mental gymnastics. FYI it’s ok to admit you are wrong based on new information. Not for you obviously, I mean for non-assholes.
- Comment on The emotional support dunkies 2 months ago:
I think you’re the one who needs to do some research, cause that’s not even close to reality. He said he knew Weinstein was sleezy, then 1 person said they went crying to Affleck after something happened with Weinstein, which resulted in people like YOU claiming this means Affleck knew he was raping people. Then that same person (Rose McGowan) clarified in an interview that she never meant to imply she told Affleck she was raped or anything like that, she said “It’s just more to illustrate the point of this continual thing of everybody knowing and everybody being part of it, unwittingly or proactively.” which Affleck flat out agreed with, the point being that hundreds if not thousands of people knew Weinstein was sketchy and weren’t collectively saying anything (until they were).
And to illustrate the point of this meme and why people think you’re an asshole this also bears mentioning: “Affleck has both anxiety and depression, and has taken antidepressants since age 26. He is a recovering alcoholic and follows a 12-step program. He said he used alcohol to alleviate a constant feeling of “discomfort” and remarked that it “took me a long time to fundamentally, deeply, without a hint of doubt, admit to myself that I am an alcoholic.” There is a history of addiction and mental illness in Affleck’s family.”
- Comment on The emotional support dunkies 2 months ago:
Yeah it’s much easier taking the internet’s word for something and just letting it define your entire personality than actually interacting with the real world, isn’t it?

You know those signs that say “X Number of Days Since the Last Accident”, and then you go in and change the number accordingly? If you have one that says “X Number of Days Since I was a Childish Asshole for No Reason” you should go ahead and change it to “0”.
- Comment on The emotional support dunkies 2 months ago:
Right. As opposed to you, who is clearly a stellar example of empathy and humanity.
- Comment on In episodes like “Phantasms”, does Data actually sleep? 2 months ago:
He doesn’t sleep as a physical necessity like humans, for example. It is a programmed cessation of normal mechanical functions that includes a dream creation program, so it is still a form of sleep even if it does not serve quite the same function as a humanoid.
