I looked it up, this episode covered about 1.3 manga chapters. (too lazy to lookup the LN/WN, though that’s what I was originally going to compare) The previous episodes averaged about 2.2 manga chapters per episode (I’m assuming there was no significant divergence in content), possibly even higher if we ignore the previous episode which also had a ton of recap.
Elymas seems to be unable to use his common sense or any knowledge that he gained from living in that world for his entire life, and he purely makes his choices based on his knowledge of the game
It seems that Elymas has a realization in nearly every episode that this world does not work quite like the game works.

Suddenly dumdum 😔
- Comment on anyone using apps to track what they watch? 1 month ago:
I use the streaming services’ built in tracking to keep track of what episode I’m on. I use animeschedule.net for following weekly releases of airing shows. I use MAL to record when I start watching, stopped watching, rating, and tracking “plan to watch”.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the dancing animation was!
That stood out to me as well. The animation quality in and of itself was quite nice, and the choreography felt well thought out.

Daemons is like a good rendition of a forgettable 2000’s shounen battle anime. It might shine compared against Shaman King and Zatch Bell (I was so young when I watched these, I don’t remember if they’re actually good), but it’s hard to think much of Daemons once you’ve seen shounen done well (Jojo, FMA, HxH). I was watching the series as it aired, and I dropped off after episode 12 (I think because there was a short break). I will continue to watch it, but it doesn’t pop out as a show to watch even though episode 12 ended with a cliffhanger.
It could be a slow burn, but perhaps too slow. From a recent MAL thread on the manga:
Is the manga anywhere near completion?
No way. We’re still on setup arcs. We don’t even know who the main antagonists are yet.

Maybe my mood is just different today, but I felt like the animation was more acceptable this time. It’s still not good, but I wasn’t distracted by how bad it was like I was for episode 1.

Make sure to catch the mid-ending-credits scene. Other than that this episode is about what one would expect, and it gives a descent indication on where this story is going.

Someone, somewhere really loves teeth. This show is proof of that fact.

That was a lame place to end the season, unless the next season picks up again in a few months. Overall I had a nice time with this show.

I liked season 3’s talking around a table more than season 2’s talking around a table, for the most part.
But if things finally shake out in the next season, that sounds like a lot of fun.
