Sure would love if it respected the fact that I already opted out and disabled it in the app settings, but yeah its nice that you can still block it. Give it a week and they’ll change that just like Snapchat did with their stupid fucking AI chatbot thats now forcibly pinned to the top of my chats list with no way to remove it unless you pay a monthly subscription.
- Comment on 'Oh god': There's a buried Steam help page that shows how much money you've ever spent on the platform, and you may not want to know 2 weeks ago:
That’s exactly why the next paragraph tells you how to find “External funds used” deep in the Steam Help menu…

I’ve got 2 rigs with their B450M’s and they’ve been solid for years now
- Comment on What's the community for stuff like this? 4 weeks ago:
The term is juxtaposition but I don’t know if a Lemmy community exists for it yet

Thanks! This is the graph I was looking for

Not when the class that controls the media is the one being revolted against.
It will however be recorded and streamed and shared peer to peer.
- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 1 month ago:
It’s being suppressed, I can’t find the graph I saw yesterday but cumulative daily protests this year have far outclassed the protests from 2017, yet there’s very little coverage of it from the major outlets.
- Comment on Millennials are watching monthly student loan payments skyrocket from $500 to $5000 under Trump: This will ‘crash the economy’ 1 month ago:
Hey now you’re forgetting that they’re also going short on everything and making money on the fucking way down too!

Another +1 for name cheap, been using em for a decade now. Their deals are stellar and renewal prices are on par with any other competitors usually

Cool Serve Delicious is tons of fun, my favorite coop cooking game for sure. My wife and I play it constantly
- Comment on Dumbware.io - Stupid Simple Software 2 months ago:
Something seriously ironic about pushing stupidly simple appels while having ridiculous bloated crap like that on the webpage. I immediately closed it out before getting a chance to read anything. On mobile that stupid bouncer takes up like a quarter of the width of my screen and why the hell is it the most foreground object???
- Comment on Which reverse proxy do you use/recommend? 2 months ago:
I’ve been using NPM for a few years now and can’t recommend it enough. I use it to route to both docker containers on an internal proxy network as well at other services within my networks
- Comment on Landing page for all my services 2 months ago:
I’ve been using a modified and simplified version of Prismatic Night it’s somewhat basic but I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve got startpages for my personal stuff, one for my wife and her personal stuff, and a couple for work.
- Comment on I just learned how to do a reverse proxy! 2 months ago:
Congratulations!! It took me ages to figure out the concept and how it works in practice, and reached the same conclusion as you! It’s nice feeling more secure and also having more freedom over routing
