- Comment on Patient gamers, which games have you discovered/played this week? 6 days ago:
It’s worth getting into ahead of the release of the second one in a few months time
- Comment on Over £1 billion to boost bus services across the country as bus fares capped at £3. 3 weeks ago:
I don’t know how people can rely on trains for a commute without getting sacked. Do they have to catch the train 1-2 hours earlier than they should need to?
- Comment on What Ever Happened to MSN Messenger? 4 weeks ago:
WhatsApp (& mobile internet in general) replaced it for me. It’s no longer a requirement for both my friends and myself to be at our computers at the same time to talk shit to each other.
- Comment on New car buyers driven to white or grey, with bright colours rarer than ever, data shows 5 weeks ago:
It’s a common colour here in the UK too which is terrible because it’s basically invisible in the frequent rain we get here. People will drive down the motorway in heavy spray and not put their lights on just because it’s daylight and don’t realise that they are really hard to spot.
- Comment on 18 treated for severe nausea in Stuttgart after opera of live sex and piercing 5 weeks ago:
If I had a sensitivity to smells I think I’d probably avoid shows known for people masturbating on stage
- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 1 month ago:
Boy that’s a lot of work just to play some old crap from more than 30 years ago

That was the old government. We had an election recently and now we have the other party in charge who…

… are continuing to do the same thing as the old government while blaming them for it.
- Comment on How to keep carpet clean? 10 months ago:
I disagree with cordless Dysons. We have the V8 Animal and it’s pretty pathetic. It struggles to pick up anything denser than dust and the very smallest of crumbs. Most of the time we have to get out the old corded one to finish what the cordless couldn’t. I think brands like Shark and Vax are supposed to be better but I’ve not tried them.
- Comment on The average car purchased in 2023 emits higher levels of carbon dioxide (CO₂) than its 2013 equivalent. This is due to the large proportion of SUVs in the mix, which tend to be bigger and heavier. 1 year ago:
The last OEM I worked for in the UK had 2/3 of their vehicles sold being SUVs 😐
