- Comment on Are Nintendo's $80 online game prices a result of tariffs or is Nintendo just using them as an excuse to price gouge as corporations do? 4 days ago:
And subsequently kill off the second hand market, perfect for a company that famously never discounts their games.
- Comment on The question no one dares ask: what if Britain has to defend itself from the US? | George Monbiot 5 weeks ago:
The best way to defend a country from the US is to not engage them in traditional warfare but use guerilla tactics until they give in and go home. They’ve lost multiple wars this way.

- Comment on Microplastics in tea bags 2 months ago:
Tea bags are about convenience. No need to portion them out and fewer utensils involved which means less washing up and it makes them much easier to use on the go.
- Comment on What games did you complete in 2024? 3 months ago:
Burnout Revenge was an amazing party game back in the day. Simple enough that anyone could immediately start playing without being terrible at it, and chaotic enough to keep everyone hooked.
I only completed 2 games this year. Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok. Played a bunch of others but they were either endless or I lost interest right near the end.
Currently not-quite finished list: Zelda ToTK, Satisfactory, BG3 Endless games: Animal crossing, Cities Skylines

- Comment on Over £1 billion to boost bus services across the country as bus fares capped at £3. 5 months ago:
I don’t know how people can rely on trains for a commute without getting sacked. Do they have to catch the train 1-2 hours earlier than they should need to?
- Comment on What Ever Happened to MSN Messenger? 5 months ago:
WhatsApp (& mobile internet in general) replaced it for me. It’s no longer a requirement for both my friends and myself to be at our computers at the same time to talk shit to each other.
- Comment on New car buyers driven to white or grey, with bright colours rarer than ever, data shows 5 months ago:
It’s a common colour here in the UK too which is terrible because it’s basically invisible in the frequent rain we get here. People will drive down the motorway in heavy spray and not put their lights on just because it’s daylight and don’t realise that they are really hard to spot.

If I had a sensitivity to smells I think I’d probably avoid shows known for people masturbating on stage
