AM doesn’t reach further than FM, it’s just that historically we’ve been using AM at lower frequencies, and these travel further. You could transmit with FM just as well on these frequencies, and get the same range.
These radio telescopes don’t transmit anything at all, they listen to radio waves coming from the cosmos. Much like a normal telescope doesn’t transmit light.

Yeah, but that’s hundreds of years ago and they’re super common now.

But these aren’t found in Western Europe

For weather prediction it usually isn’t that accurate anyway, and varies over time and location a lot.
For the thermostat it does matter, but usually you can set these in steps of 0.5°C. Mine reports back in 0.1°C steps.

Hmm, it seems to me most of those bubbles will happen not where you need them. Maybe if you throw in the base first and the acid later (or the other way around)

Soda and vinegar is an odd combination. Soda is a base, making water alkali. Vinegar is an acid, making water acidic. Together, they make water neutral again, with a lot of pretty bubbles.
Either one can work really well depending on the stuff you need to get rid of. But adding one to the other just weakens it.

Well, they got the frame before it where it was still stationary on the ground.

The ID.4 doesn’t just have capacitive buttons, it has swipe controls on the steering wheel.
And of the most frustrating cars I have ever driven.

Depends on where you live. Here in Europe Pozidrive is slowly being replaced by six-lobe. Flatheads and Phillips are only on ancient stuff

Either too heavy (these vehicles are below 200kg) or it doesnt work long enough. Or you’re now hot and humid, which is worse than hot and dry

It is!

Sometimes, but they only work for so long. Mostly just bring plenty water and power through. Every stint is about 4 hours of driving, and then drivers change.

I worked on solar racing cars as a student. The main race crosses outback Australia. One of the questions we often got: Does it have A/C?
No, no it doesn’t. A/C uses about as much power as all of the solar cells on the car deliver. We can either move, or power an A/C-unit.

Find new friends. Not even most people are like this, unless you’re in college age. Even then they are others who don’t want to get wasted regularly

They are throwing unnecessary blockades (the article mentions 4 popups/warnings that Edge is just as good as Chrome).

Yes, why not? For the layman Microsoft is the name of a company that has existed for a long time and has made reliable, functional products.
Even for the non-layman, Microsoft isn’t a perfect company, but it’s not as if Google is any better.

I would make sure the solder connection between wire and resistor is very solid, and then encase the stuff in heat shrink tubing with glue in it. (Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing)

- Comment on 30 UV led circuit 1 year ago:
AA batteries can supply plenty current, the question is for how long.
You need about 1.3 Watt for 30 LEDs (I’m assuming 15 mA, 3V). A rechargable AA battery has about 2.4 Wh according to Wikipedia, so 6 AA batteries will last you 2.4Wh * 6 / 1.3W = 11 hours.
I have no idea how curing works, but 1.3 Watt feels very low. That amount of power is fine for visual lighting, or for signals (turn on a TV), but energy wise it’s very little.
