a) I wasnt banned, I closed the last account down myself as it was locked up. b) how have I been an “asshole”? Its a whole new account I’ve not even spoken to anyone through it yet.

If I had been abusive in any way I would agree with you. This is the point I am making. Something or someone is flagging me despite the lack of actually commenting.

What rules have I broken? I’ve already outlined the problem. Its a new account, new email, new everything. Why so nasty?

What comments.
Its literally a brand new account. They’re not maintaining their site. I havent even got as far as comments.

I’m just trying to figure out why I get this every time I go to watch a video. 🤷♂️

Thanks for the reply. Ultimately those sorts of things protect the “customer/investor” I’d presume.

This is a daft comment, so take a pinch of salt… but traditional banks lobby hard for deregulation, except when it comes to crypto.
- Comment on The End of LBRY Inc. 1 year ago:
I think its to do with holding too much cyrpto for yourselves.

Same here! Kind of disappointed in this.

- Comment on Spotify re-invented the radio 1 year ago:
Buy it on Bandcamp and download it. Or rip it to mp3/flac. Then blutooth the phone to the car radio.
- Comment on Spotify re-invented the radio 1 year ago:
Go to Bandcamp. Its usually there. Of course that site is in the shit for now thanks to their staff being laid off after a buyout, but the bands are still getting the money.
- Comment on Spotify re-invented the radio 1 year ago:
No, its worse than that as it pays far less. In the peak days of radio the artists/labels got a far larger cut than $0.003. It made many artists rich. These days who is really making a living?
- Comment on Spotify re-invented the radio 1 year ago:
If they gave half that profit to the artists on there, maybe. But they give about 10% iirc. Give up with these services and just buy the CD, vinyl or whatever. Then listen to your hearts content.

No, it literally comes up with an error on the screen. The submission box used to go after you submitted.

I cant afford things like apple products. Amazon has driven the price down for me on a fair few things. As much as I hate the company and the man behind it I cant always afford to go to some other store. Thankfully I dont buy much stuff.

I did try that. It doesn’t work. Something else is clearly going on.

It doesnt fund itself. It rakes it in.
A few ads are fine imo. The problem is I can watch a 9 minute video and be subjected to more advertising than the telly.
- Comment on Europe gives Elon Musk 24 hours to respond about Israel-Hamas war misinformation and violence on X 1 year ago:
Twitter is not the internet, its now a misinformation site that financially rewards that misinformation. The slow death of twitter prompted the birth of threads, bluesky and mastodon to name 3. One goes, three rise. And nobody is being censored - thats the point. What this would be is the consequence of their misuse of free speech.

Nevermind fining Twitter. Elon will see it as a badge of honour and Trumpspin.
What the EU needs to do is block access to the website outright across its member states.

Maybe we should be asking our favourite people on the site if they have alternative video sites they use?
