- Comment on When society completely transitions to cash-less, what happens when the power goes down? End of the world? 2 weeks ago:
A cashless society means your overlords will have COMPLETE control of your lives. Of course the oligarchs will have secret avenues of cash for themselves.
- Comment on Does the average person have no critical thinking? 2 weeks ago:
Seriously, if you are AWARE of propaganda, you are also aware that you have been influenced by it. Propaganda is pervasive in civilizations. It is simply manipulation. TV ads and guys trying to pick up chicks are everyday uses of propaganda.
- Comment on Microsoft getting nervous about Europe's tech independence 2 weeks ago:
Microsoft is an American company. America is broken and corrupt. No country can trust America anymore.

- Comment on Elon Musk: your new Tesla will drive from the factory floor, to your house 'this year' 3 weeks ago:
As if the far right folks will buy an electric car and Elon burned the bridges for buyers on the left.
- Comment on Orange flavored recession is superior to the DeMoNCRaTs!!!1!1!! 1 month ago:
Of course Republicans have switched to a narrative that says things need to be shaken up to set the country on the right course.
- Comment on The best thing *you* can do for the fediverse is *just be kind* 1 month ago:
I don’t miss the thousands of obnoxious, foul mouthed folks on FB that I routinely blocked. Haven’t experienced any of that on the fediverse yet.
- Comment on You are not living in reality if you do not see the huge difference between THEN and NOW 1 month ago:
In reality many people who were boomers lived in shacks, some with no plumbing and dirt floors, until the 60’s when liberal economics began to fully kick in. Reagan, and Republicans have schemed very hard to bring back those "good old days’. Try reading some actual history of that time. Bonus, if you actually talk to a boomer who lived through hard times.
- Comment on Is it better to leave a country, or stay behind to fight for it? And what about the ethics of fleeing instead of staying behind? 1 month ago:
“My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right.” - Carl Schurz:
It’s our civic duty to make our country better.
Some people may need to move because because they aren’t safe here right now.
Some people need to be removed, one way or another.
- Comment on Terrorists 1 month ago:
Add mass murderers, insurrectionist militias and extortionists to the serial killer list that are being sidelined for car vandals and immigrants.
- Comment on Amazon Boycot March 7-14th | No Purchases. Its time to disrupt the system. 2 months ago:
I stopped buying on Amazon Jan 20. I will cancel Amazon Prime today. Many people will also stop buying and many people will cancel Prime. When they stop buying for a week, they tend to find alternatives that they stick with. I was buying several hundred dollars worth of merch but have found better alternatives. I will not go back. Seven days is just a start. Amazon is noticing.
- Comment on dear republicans, what's the point of alienating every single ally of the US? 2 months ago:
the DNC is the last place to find actual conservatives these days.
There is a good reason for this. Money to win elections comes from CONSERVATIVE corporations and populism isn’t on their wish list.
- Comment on dear republicans, what's the point of alienating every single ally of the US? 2 months ago:
Nearly $3 billion USD flowed through the TRUMP cryptocoin
But wait, there’s more. Us taxpayer money will now be used to “invest” in these crypto scams.
- Comment on What are the democrats actually doing to help? 2 months ago:
Perhaps a better question is, “What are you doing to help?”.
Supporting a national strike, canceling Amazon, leaving FB, might be a good start. Contacting you representative who doesn’t represent you seems to be futile. Maybe flash protests? - Comment on John Oliver promoted alternatives to big tech in last night's episode, including Mastodon and Pixelfed 2 months ago:
Exactly! All a person has to do is to look around - the right buys up all popular media platforms and converts them to propaganda outlets.
- Comment on A monolithic and ruthless conspiracy: What was John F. Kennedy referring to? 2 months ago:
Probably the oligarchs. They have been trying to install fascist dictatorships for a very long time.
- Comment on why are they called “popular girls” if they’re typically not friends with anyone outside their small friend group? 2 months ago:

- Comment on So, is the USA screwed? 2 months ago:
The culture of incompetence, crime, failure, and collapse will become normalized? Not on my turf.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 months ago:
People will be in danger either way with the violence prone goons in power. If you are armed, there will be justification to shoot you. Protest at more public and friendly places. That way you will likely have allies nearby. Also, folks need to be situationally aware and plan an escape path if things turn too dangerous.
