I did not know this existed, but I’m going to watch it now!

Yeah, because the market went from having the opinion of “I’m 80% sure that Tesla is going to do this robo taxi, automaton thing” to " I’m 65% sure that Tesla is going to do this robotaxi, automaton thing". Things are rarely all or nothing with the market.

I really love these games. I like the silly little puzzles with the good music and art. The lack of story never really bothered me because every single person you meet is so unique looking that it enables a lot of people-watching imagination on my part. I just think they’re neat :)

I thought the story in ac Odyssey was very unique with how it prioritized the morality of the time and contrasted it with our modern day morality, and I spent plenty of hours really enjoying that world. Probably my favorite large open world to date (but that is entirely personal preference). I do think Mario kart 8 is the best kart racer ever, and definitely deserves to be on the list for that alone.

I have no knowledge about diablo 4, but I think the others are really fun games in their genre?

In this case, no. This is just interpreting what the next frame should be by the previous one. Like how the sora videos work, but with input.
- Comment on Ryzen CPU owners can now download better gaming performance thanks to a Windows 11 update 2 months ago:
I think it is optional now, and after they observe it’s stability for a while, they will move it into base update, but I’m not sure.

- Comment on What are your favorite Nintendo 64 games? 3 months ago:
Rocket: robot on wheels
I agree with all of the other great games others have mentioned, but I really love the first level of rocket. It’s your typical platformer, except it has a physics engine, so when you throw things, they might bounce in fun ways, and there is this dune buggy that you get to drive that bounces off the sand dunes in ways that releases a lot of seratonin in my brain.
- Comment on Google's call-scanning AI could dial up censorship by default, privacy experts warn 5 months ago:
Yeah, I don’t want this for my phone right now, but I do think that this would help me sleep easier with my grandfather who has already fallen for multiple scams.
- Comment on Nearly all Nintendo 64 games can now be recompiled into native PC ports to add proper ray tracing, ultrawide, high FPS, and more 6 months ago:
This is what they do in the manual decompile projects (like is happening for Majora’s mask now), but this tool can only preserve logic.

This is terrible. I have a love for olli olli world that is so huge. It’s such a a phenomenal, relaxing, cute game. Corporate greed harms so many people.
- Comment on Cox deletes ‘Active Listening’ ad pitch after boasting that it eavesdrops though our phones 10 months ago:
It would show the encrypted out bound traffic right? You wouldn’t be able to identify it by reading the bits, but you could by the volume and not doing anything else.
- Comment on Republicans slam broadband discounts for poor people, threaten to kill program | Ars Technica 11 months ago:
But isn’t broadband access one of the main requirements for using technology? I understand not wanting to interact with politics, but nothing in our life is truly separated from it.

I think they’ve said that Twitter and musk stories get a lot of traffic.
- Comment on Nintendo Cancels Japanese Esports Events Following Threats to Staff and Spectators 11 months ago:
Depending on your definition of “unofficial”, nothing. But at some point you need to make media to tell people about your tournament, or you want to stream the tournament, and doing either of those without using Nintendo’s copyrighted material/trademarks is impossible.
- Comment on Cope 1 year ago:
It may have a lot of the stylings of adult swim, but I think that lower decks is far more focused. Obviously it all comes down to taste, but you should really give it another go and definitely try strange new worlds. Strange new worlds is classic trek done so well.

- Comment on Six Months Ago NPR Left Twitter. The Effects Have Been Negligible 1 year ago:
Great point. Many governments have media teams that produce propaganda and present it as news. This can be confusing, so social media sites label articles from these government entities as state-sponsored or whatever. It’s supposed to help Americans not trust propaganda that another country puts out, uncritically.
