Did you bother to read the article or did you only decide to write this argument w/o any substantial basis?

Twitter as a venue to allow the people being directly impacted by oppressive regimes
Twitter has played a large role in supporting said regimes.

This is a good time to make aware about an amazing privacy-centric & user-friendly alternative - Peertube. It is not a big network as of now but the benefits it provides over YouTube are large - it is a part of the fediverse. Of course, only through increasing participation will the network become bigger.
If you still wish to use YouTube, you can try third party front ends like Invidious or Piped on the browser; NewPipe(Also is a front end for Soundcloud, media.ccc.de, Peertube & Bandcamp) or LibreTube on Android.
If you only browse YT Music, you can try HyperPipe in the browser. There are many apps for it available on F-Droid, an alternative app store for Android. My personal pick is ViMusic.

I prefer to think it as it is named - A Legend. In that each timeline is a different take to narrate that Legend.

English has quite many problems in a lot of components. It is not phonemic and is very complex. That is one of the main reasons I got interested in learning Esperanto. It is simple, phonemic and planned to be good.

I am not here to entertain Whataboutery. I am not a shill for Tuta Mail and will abandon it as well if it does the same thing. I don’t rely on e-mail for communications. I only suggested Tuta Mail in the other thread because it is the least worst of them all.

You can use third party frontends like Nitter on Web or Fritter/Squawker on Android (available on F-Droid) to still follow accounts for info without the requirement of having an account anywhere. With the condition that viewing is the only thing you can do.
I left Twitter over an year ago and I use the frontends I mentioned to follow about 20 accounts for info on varied topics.

- Comment on Which software do you mostly use for programming, and why? 1 year ago:
Have not done any in a while due to other work. But mostly consisted of Helix (editor) in multiple Alacritty (terminal emulator) instances (AWM Dynamic Window Manager for Window Management). That’s all that would be open. All my work is on the terminal; easy, fast, to the point, no visual obstructions. (In fact I ironically find it inconvenient in my case to use GUI Applications these days.)
- Comment on People considering 'cancelling' new iPhone order after seeing comparison between older generation 1 year ago:
For Apple products there is the petty “status symbol” thing. If I share my experience, my father has a mania of buying such stuff only for the sake of imagining that he is on some position where he is like, “Oh I own this and that, you peasants won’t understand.” The macbook he bought many months ago now lies dusted on a shelf because it is practically useless to everyone in the household at the moment. It’s a total waste of money for something no one cares about but him. I do not argue about it as it is a waste of time for me. It’s his dogma and his money. I have a more rational mindset of looking at things with a materialistic approach i.e. analytically measuring an object’s use value rather than its prestige.
- Comment on Websurfx - An open source alternative to Searx which aggregates results from other search engines (metasearch engine) without ads while keeping privacy and security in mind. 1 year ago:
I appreciate the project and would follow up on its development, it looks quite interesting, however I must make a small highlight regarding the title. The writing makes it seem as if SearX is not open source and provides ads. I think some rephrasing might make it more accurate.
- Comment on What would it take for you to move away from Github? 1 year ago:
I host my projects mostly on Codeberg but still keep a Github account because of the multitude of useful projects that are unfortunately hosted on GitHub. I wouldn’t waste a second to delete my GH account if those projects migrated to Codeberg or any other Libre alternatives.
