  I can’t blame them for not understanding the significance of human communications infrastructure, but I wish they wouldn’t set up camp in poorly tended mailboxes. Granted, ants are worse about this by some distance. (I’ve also had to deal with small birds while delivering)

  The gutting of the humanities and other things generally written off as “frivolous” kind of terrified me. There’s something that feels distinctly wrong about these attempts at destroying anything intended to turn an introspective gaze on society itself.

  Honestly one of these days I’d like to see one of these doohickeys be an actual refresh of the original hardware. Not really an economical or low-effort angle to take, but hell, you can still get Z80 (and their successors) pretty cheap.

  I like IRC and still use it daily. Then again, vintage computers are my main hobby horse.
