I’m out of the loop with Dune news. Is the plan still that Dune Messiah will cover the second book (of the same name) and there’ll be a Children of Dune TV show? Or am I just speaking fake news?

It’s okay guys, the party of small government would absolutely never encroach on abusing their powers!

It’s mid February and I’m in the Midwest. In other words, we’re still comfortably in winter and I’m in an area of the US known for having freezing winters.
The high for today is 74°F (23.3°C) . Outside of the polar vortex the US got which did eventually get us to -10°F (-12.2°C), I haven’t seen us even approach freeing since then.
When I go running around the neighborhood this time of the year, I’m usually in layers, not in tank tops.

Hey now, dontcha know they mark up prices if you pay with insurance? It’s how the drug companies get even more money!
If you quit your job, the medication might actually be only $4k!

I can’t wait for when medical implants require a subscription so that I can routinely pay to live a normal life!

You’re going to get numbers all over the place lol.
I’m $70 for a gig up and down. My parents are $150 for 150mb down and either 15mb or 25mb up. They also have a 1 gig soft cap before getting throttled.

A 60ft tall 4ft wide tree costs $4k to remove in your neck of the woods? In my area, it costs that much to remove a tree a third of that size and I shopped around and got multiple quotes too 😣

Lower Decks is the entire reason I’ve even begun my Stat Trek adventure. I’d watch Trek occasionally whenever it was on TV, but now I’ve watched all of LD, DISC, SNW, TOS, the first 6 movies, 6 seasons of TNG, and 1 Season of ENT in like the past 2 months or so.

- Comment on Dumb question: Is it safe to use extension ladder on interrior wall? 11 months ago:
Yeah, I’d consider myself comfortable with ladders and with heights. I’ve climbed higher things than this. But you’re right, they can be dangerous. I know how to respect them outside the house, but inside the house just feels more sketchy because I have to be aware of myself and any potential damage to the house. Don’t want to make the wife mad 😅.

Ah interesting point about the weight distribution. I agree then; I should be fine!
Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything I should be considering.

Yeah, another way I’ve heard it phrased is comments are for explaining why you did things a certain way, not for explaining what it’s doing.

I binged like the last quarter of the 2nd season really stoned the first time around. 10/10 experience. Honestly it was awesome. Would do again.

This is only true if the insurance decides if your treatment or received health care is covered. If you happen to need something that the insurance just outright will not cover, then you foot the bill.

In fairness, Arnold Schwarzenegger already has political experience as governor of California. He’d be the most qualified celebrity for the Whitehouse if he was a naturally born citizen.

It is because of this shit that I’m now finished with Discovery, Lower Decks, 5 episodes into SNW, 20 Episodes into ENT, and 1.75 seasons through TOS.

How do you remove the paywall from the article? Just copy the URL of the article and provide it to archive.today, and that website just bypassed the paywall? How do they manage to bypass it? O.o
