Damn I definitely did miss this. What the fuck is wrong with this country?

I’m not up to speed on this I guess. I thought bringing back the name Denali was a good thing. Is there some more to the story that I’m missing?
- Comment on Chat, is this true? 3 days ago:
I like that we call it Denali nowadays instead of Mount McKinley. I’m all for this.
Now if I could just get South Dakota to issue me a new license plate without those faces carved into the mountain…

Just last week I upgraded from an LG V30. It was still running Android 8 and the battery would only last half of a day but I loved that phone.
RIP LG phones, I will miss you.

Even if it was just contained to US soil we’d still call WWIII like we do with the World Series.

- Comment on Men are going to brutal boot camps to reclaim their masculinity. How did we get here? 1 year ago:
I guess when men are leading an unfulfilled life they look to these programs to establish their manhood.
I think it’d be more productive just to invest in some quality hobbies but maybe that’s not enough to prove to themselves how manly they are.
I don’t know anyone IRL who would be interested in a program like this so any opinion on the matter is just speculation from me.
- Comment on Men are going to brutal boot camps to reclaim their masculinity. How did we get here? 1 year ago:
I think it’s tough for men to make friends and have hobbies because so many people are overworked and too busy.
These man camps seem stupid to me personally because there are a million other activities to partake in where you can challenge yourself. Go hiking or camping or ride a dirt bike and be social. Run a Tough Mudder with some buddies to build some camaraderie.
A man camp just seems like an activity for men who have no hobbies or interests outside their family and work.

I think I have a pancake air compressor from Wen. It was the cheapest I could find on Amazon and the gauges are broken from shipping but it does work so…

Well I’m fucked. Thanks for sharing that link, I had no idea Google tracked what time I used Signal messenger.
Not sure what to do with this information but I didn’t realize it was that granular.

- Comment on Why are pipes used in plumbing more than hoses? 1 year ago:
Pex is also resistant to bursting in the event of freezing. I used pex in my van build and the few times the pipes have frozen haven’t resulted in any issues other than having to wait for the pipes to thaw.

They’ll still arrest you for constructive possession.
- Comment on SpaceX projected 20 million Starlink users by 2022—it ended up with 1 million 1 year ago:
I agree. It’s the only option for internet in many places. I’m very happy with my Starlink service. I’d drop it in a heartbeat if there was a better option but for now it fits my needs.

Oracle are the OGs of enshittification.

Add Google/YouTube to that list as well! Google is enshittifying both Chrome and YouTube to prevent ad blocking.

It’s obviously not the shooter’s fault. The gun is 100% responsible.
