I used to hate fairhaven esp too until rewatches taught me to love them lol
- Comment on I just finished watching Voyager... again 1 week ago:
Same here but also, when a series is starting to get old when you’ve rewatched too much too recently or whatever, those “bad” episodes can be a fresh experience due to consistently avoiding them lol

Any time I have a problem with Xfinity, they force you to use the app which is a shitty AI assistant that gives you very narrow options to move forward thus requiring a real person. It’s real hard to get to a real person and when you do they’re in India and can’t actually help you either.
My favorite was when I finally got to a person on the phone who eventually decided they couldn’t help me and redirected me to a robot that told me to go online and speak to the chatbot that got me on the phone in the first place.
They just want to get rid of the person no interest in help.

Add something to your cart, you won’t see the coupon u till you’ve added it. It will have a button to “clip” the coupon thus applying the potential savings.
It’s scummy

Early access is one thing, production on this thing begin TWENTY GODDAMN ELEVEN.
thirteen years ago, that ain’t early access, that’s a fucking scam that ain’t ever delivering

Automatically assume the worst? WE’VE HAD OVER A DECADE to get to this point.
- Comment on Star Citizen Expose Paints a Fairly Bleak Picture: 'There's No Actual Focus on Getting the Game Done' 2 months ago:
LMAO you’re the MAGA-parallel here.
Is it really “love to hate” or is it just that after a decade of failed and ignored promises and dates year after year after year nobody has any real faith. 65 million dollars in stretch goals and it’s still a fucking broken mess, endless examples.
The squadron demo fucking crashed when it was shown at the con, yet its feature complete but also not releasing until 2026.
Have you even seen the insanity that is the stretch goals? robertsspaceindustries.com/funding-goals
It’s all but a grift, and here you are defending the grifters. Maybe in ANOTHER decade they’ll actually deliver what people were promised (and paid for!) years and years ago.
- Comment on Star Citizen Expose Paints a Fairly Bleak Picture: 'There's No Actual Focus on Getting the Game Done' 2 months ago:
Looks like a fun game isn’t what is being discussed here.
What IS being discussed is if this so called “feature complete” game is ever gonna come out. If its feature complete how is it crashing in the first demo they show? 2026 is a long ways away for a feature complete game.
As a dev, I realize feature complete doesn’t mean done but it also doesn’t mean an extra two years lead time before release either.
Just like the rest of Star citizen, aspirational date after date with no serious commitment. What they do release is either a little or a lot broken. This shits been going on for over a decade, but yeah it’s totally different now (but like, not now, but in 2026!)
….but it lOoKs LiKe A fUn GaMe!!!
- Comment on Star Citizen Expose Paints a Fairly Bleak Picture: 'There's No Actual Focus on Getting the Game Done' 2 months ago:
Hey look, it’s one of those gullible marks.
“Feature complete” but they can’t release it for another two years? Hmmm…… 🤔
As a dev myself this shit is hilarious

12+ years
hundreds of milllions of dollars invested
65+ million dollars in stretch goal funding
cool tech demo that you can play
hahahahahahahahahahaha

Classic, the person who doesn’t know what they’re talking about is SO sure that they know the truth. So much so they’re out here correcting people and handing out false info.
so the engine they are building is actually pretty good
Keep living in a false reality pal. I’m sure you k or so much more than the engine dev who replied to you

- Comment on Star Citizen Expose Paints a Fairly Bleak Picture: 'There's No Actual Focus on Getting the Game Done' 2 months ago:
Jesus fucking Christ! What a goddamn scam.
If you donate 60 million dollars worth of stretch goals we’ll make the game! But only if we meet the stretch goals… otherwise go fuck yourself, give us more money!
That whole page you linked is fucking gross.

side-loading in iOS has been possible for some time now
- Comment on Apple quietly deletes nearly a hundred VPNs that allowed Russians to get around censorship 3 months ago:
Absolutely, in addition to this, you can sideload apps as well without issue. I do it all the time
- Comment on Apple quietly deletes nearly a hundred VPNs that allowed Russians to get around censorship 3 months ago:
and iOS supports sideloading, don’t twist reality
- Comment on Apple quietly deletes nearly a hundred VPNs that allowed Russians to get around censorship 3 months ago:
is it a fair comparison to draw when someone only knows how to use a VPN if it’s in the App Store
This whole thread is absurd, sideloading is possible on iOS, end of story. As per the original OP, their comment is 100% about sideloading
My message is clearly talking about side loading. Don’t twist my words.
- Comment on Apple quietly deletes nearly a hundred VPNs that allowed Russians to get around censorship 3 months ago:
This is why you don’t buy into closed-garden ecosystems like this.
You can absolutely set up a VPN without any app, thus your argument of how this is a reason why the walled-garden concept is flawed. iOS also has side-loading btw :)
There’s really only one choice if you care about freedom.
There really isn’t just one choice if you care about freedom, it’s ironic you think a singular choice is the way forward anyway when talking about freedom. Really interesting how you shape this narrative based on zero facts.
Lastly, I think it’s very funny that you think Google is someone you can trust to give you freedom

The fate of Mozilla is sad, I know one day they will announce a move to chromium.
why the fuck would they kill the thing that makes them money? Do you even understand what you are implying here??
- Comment on Mozilla exits the fediverse and will shutter its Mastodon server in December | TechCrunch 3 months ago:
There is, I just saw a post trying to demonize Mozilla simply because they had a few job listings for AI and Ad managers and the take away in the post itself was like “I see they have fully pointed the ship towards a future of AI and Ads”, like are you serious??? A few job listings is enough to paint the entire future of the company lol
- Comment on louder for those in the back 3 months ago:
This is just AI fear mongering. There is no meme here.
the underlying purpose to AI
Say no more, nothing valuable can follow this set up.
Like seriously, are we to believe that AIs purpose of existence is just one singular thing?? You could say the almost or not the same bullshit about computers in general.
“AI only exists so wealth can steal from you!!!” It’s like those lies people would throw around to create fear like fascists do with minority groups.
Like bro, the wealthy are already stealing from us this doesn’t move the needle a cm. At the same time AI can be a huge help to disabled and elderly, how does that fit into the ultimate purpose of the wealthy removing skilled workers access to wealth.
This shit is a fever dream of weird propaganda
