- Comment on What kind of laptop charger do I need for my laptop 3 months ago:
Thank you for taking the time to look for this, it’s not the right charger. But definitely put that on eBay you might be able to help someone else out & make a little money.
Thanks again! - Comment on What kind of laptop charger do I need for my laptop 3 months ago:
If you have a match throw it on eBay and I’ll buy it
- Comment on What kind of laptop charger do I need for my laptop 3 months ago:
yea it’s the frayed wire, i didn’t test it after I got shocked, I threw it away. I imagine the box part is fine but the part that plugs in the wall is frayed
- Comment on What kind of laptop charger do I need for my laptop 3 months ago:
i’m about over laptops in general.
- Comment on What kind of laptop charger do I need for my laptop 3 months ago:
I typed in the serial number of my charger and it only gave one search result total. An item on eBay that was out of stock. It really sucks because I doubt I could sell my entire laptop for $140 since it’s so old. Oh well

- Comment on Most consumers hate the idea of AI-generated customer service 4 months ago:
I talk to about 10 customers each day for no more than 30 minutes and 99% of the time it’s to fix something they messed up on. 30% of those people are jerks.
Thankfully most of my job is NOT dealing with customers and I truly feel bad for people who have to deal with them in high volume each day.
If I call them, I can fix it immediately, if they call in, enjoy the robot. So don’t be mean and the call won’t be disconnected (which I have permission to do fortunately)

Once my narwhal stops working (haven’t updated and I’m not giving a penny to Reddit) I’ll likely never go back.
Narwhal is trash compared to Apollo by the way, I only use it for one subreddit. I wish that sub would migrate over here so I can browse using the Voyager app.

Don’t donate too much, Nintendo’s gonna take that shit.
Dude needs to move to a country without Nintendo jurisdiction and restart the GoFundMe. I’d give the dude $100. Fuck Nintendo over that.
- Comment on It’s Surprisingly Easy to Live Without an Amazon Prime Subscription 9 months ago:
I deleted my Prime! So many good points on this post. My last 2 purchase from Amazon took 2 weeks to get here, which is fine but prime is advertised as 2 days. Amazon prime’s TV selection is for the most part trash & finally Amazon can burn in hell. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to cancel it.
- Comment on The Self-Checkout Nightmare May Finally Be Ending 10 months ago:
lol maybe. Meijer is such a breeze at the self checkout compared to Kroger. The memes are mostly true. Unexpected item in the bagging area half a dozen times, then the cashier has to come over and put their passcode in and override whatever happened.
- Comment on The Self-Checkout Nightmare May Finally Be Ending 10 months ago:
Our Meijer is quite a bit further away too. If we’re out in the area already we’ll stop by and do a bigger trip. I could put up with the nonsense at Kroger if their damn prices weren’t so ridiculous. Kroger is by far the closest but they’re by far the most expensive for me anyway
- Comment on The Self-Checkout Nightmare May Finally Be Ending 10 months ago:
Meijer is the only one that has their self checkout figured out. 2 different sections in my store with 10-12 checkout stations. So a minimum of 20 self check out stations open and they’re always open and working. They never give me the errors like Walmart and Kroger.
Walmart might have 20 checkouts as well but half aren’t working or open plus there’s 3x the people at Walmart so there’s usually a 15 minute wait.
Kroger is the worst with the errors. They might have 20 checkout stations but 5 might be open.
Going to Walmart or Kroger is always a hassle. I avoid those 2 unless I need one or two items.
Aldis and Meijer are my go to.

- Comment on Duolingo lays off 10% of contract workers, partly due to AI 10 months ago:
They’ve gone to complete shit since they’ve become a publicly traded company. Trash updates, removing the forum and comments/discussions on questions.
Money is priority over education when it’s tradable on the stock market.
Fuck them, I hope someone creates an AI based language learning app and Duolingo goes out of business. lol at their $215 stock price. It’ll be 1/20 of that in 3 years.
- Comment on US pay-TV subscriber base eroding at record pace 10 months ago:
There’s a guy on one of my FB groups who peddles those one time fee cable boxes. His an absolute legend in the group. People are probably buying those things up in cities all around the world. I only use YouTube TV for about 3 months of the year and Hulu year around otherwise I’d probably buy one.
Dude is probably going to get raided by the FBI at some point.
I hope not because fuck the cable companies, Netflix, Amazon.
Hulu’s a bro though.

Thats where I would start.
- Comment on how do i pick out a good avocado 1 year ago:
Idk how I missed this comment originally but it’s very interesting. I hated every vegetable as a kid, I still don’t like most of them but I’ll push myself to eat them. I do enjoy cucumbers, and a select others fresh vegetables. (Once they get cooked… 🤮🤮🤮)
When avacados are “good” I friggin love them. It’s literally heaven for me. Idk what the deal is but I took advice from everyone in this thread and I bought a avacado and I’ll post a little update when I try it tomorrow.
- Comment on how do i pick out a good avocado 1 year ago:
I got some pictures of an avacado I bought but it’s not letting me upload it right now. I’ll try again tomorrow and I’ll try the avacado I bought tomorrow as well. Disclaimer I’m in a different state so it might be a different avacado then the one I get at home. It doesn’t say on the sticker but it looks the same

Hell, under my plan $700 will at least get you a walk in closet sized living box with a mini fridge.
