I made the argument that it’s expensive but it was more based on the idea that I can get a cheapo used console with a few games and that’ll do me for a whole generation. That and I think that PC gaming has a deeper void to get sucked into (mainly keyboards and monitors)
But now a couple weeks later and I realize that I really enjoy my crappy business desktop PC and I could see building a PC in the future.
They each have their advantages. When I go to a friends house we play console. At home I’d rather play PC, if I had the choice.

I don’t think conservatism is about being rational it’s about maintaining tradition or maybe morality, however it was defined by the previous generation.

Yes it was bad I don’t know what happened.
Thinking back on episode one it seems like there is a lot more action and plot movement.
Focusing on Aneesha’s family for the opener was a weird choice. And Mitsuki’s character felt like it has been elevated and that whole process felt rushed. She was not a main character before, important, interesting, but not a show leader. Instead we open with her charging at danger with a molotov. Just weird all around for me.
I was disappointed. I watched Last of Us and that was a good antidote. Solid show. Maybe I’ll try season 1 again.

I swear there has been another monster on a boat slowly killing crew movie in the last 20 years but I cannot recall the name. I remember it being better than this one.

Here is the AP blog post

Seems like a standard policy for staff. Short, simple, good.
This was more interesting to me:
[licensing agreement already in place] The arrangement sees OpenAI licensing part of AP’s text archive, while AP will leverage OpenAI’s technology and product expertise. Both organizations will benefit from each other’s established expertise in their respective industries, and believe in the responsible creation and use of these AI systems.

Society isn’t a tree it’s a machine so we can bend it all we like.
I’m ready for a more nuanced interpretation of these ideas that treat the later frames more like aspirations than goals.
