I once witnessed an old-timer in the biz repair a copier gear with the super glue and baking soda. Wasn’t supposed to be permanent but he forgot and the gear out lasted the copier contract.

That’s exactly what I’ve been asking for. I like the gog model of no DRM, but being able to play on my OS of choice is more important to me, so I usually buy from steam. I know most gog games can run on Linux with manual setup, but most of the time I’m in the mood for gaming I don’t want to troubleshoot, I most likely did that all day at work already. The game is the unwind from all that. When this lands I will use it to buy a new game from them, if not just for testing purposes.
