- Comment on Scientists Want to Teleport a Whole Human. A Quantum Breakthrough Could Make It Reality. 5 months ago:
Yeah. Not only that, but if there is some sort of quantum state that represents the you that is you, even beyond your memories, but literally down to the spins of sub atomic particles that make you up, and you are able to transfer that state one way, making it appear exactly somewhere else (and presumably causing the state to cease to exist where it started), I’m happy to consider that teleportation, no death whatsoever. You weren’t deconstructed at point a and rebuilt at point b, you literally teleported.

Of course you could. The process will take more energy than replicating a drained battery too.
- Comment on Russia suspected of planting device on plane that caused UK warehouse fire 6 months ago:
I bet it’s just a damaged lithium ion battery. If Russia wanted to do this for real, how hard would it actually be to pull off?
This is just fear mongering nonsense.

I worked with some Americans who said “these data” all the time. Even though it was technically correct it sounded so grating I wanted to kill them. Everyone other employee from literally every other country would say “this data” barring those smug fucks from Seattle.
