You’re right. I shouldn’t be reading articles that early.
- Comment on Official Launch Trailer | Crimson Desert 1 day ago:
Why the fuck do developers think we want to fly through rings??
- Comment on Video game PEGI age-ratings are changing in Europe from June. Four new categories added to tackle elements of addictive design, unmonitored online communication and loot boxes 1 day ago:
Unfiltered communication gets an 18 rating, but gambling gets a 12 😮💨
- Comment on Pragmata is releasing a whole week earlier than planned because who cares, it's got April all to itself 1 week ago:
*looks at the six other games in my game playlist to come out in April that I’m honestly more interested in*
Ok
- Comment on Kitchen smells really weird when I turn on my oven. Should I be worried? 1 week ago:
Read the post before commenting advice. The 3rd sentence says it’s electric.
- Comment on We Cooked Klingon Gagh (Yes…REALLY) | Ten Forward Test Kitchen 2 weeks ago:
You can’t cook gagh. That kills it. The whole point is to feel them squirming on the way down.
- Comment on [NSQ] What are you actually looking forward to this year? 3 weeks ago:
I’m surprised no one is talking about the US midterm elections. I have to hope that we can actually turn this fascism around. God, please let us turn this fascism around…
- Comment on Crimson Moon - Announce Trailer | PS5 Games 4 weeks ago:
God, I love being able to block people on Lemmy. Please block me too. Let’s never see each other again.
- Comment on Crimson Moon - Announce Trailer | PS5 Games 4 weeks ago:
LOL, yeah person that got a college degree in making video games doesn’t understand basic terms used to describe how gameplay feels. Sure, bud.
I’m not invalidating how you feel about Lords of the Fallen or FromSoft games. I’m literally just stating (for some reason, repeatedly) that people feel differently about different things. I couldn’t give a flying fuck what games you enjoy, nor should you give a flying fuck about what games I enjoy. Just because we enjoy games at the other person does not doesn’t mean that the other person enjoys shit games.
- Comment on Crimson Moon - Announce Trailer | PS5 Games 4 weeks ago:
Saying opinions are facts doesn’t make them so, just because they’re your opinions. I guess you had a skill issue with the original Lords of the Fallen, huh?
- Comment on Crimson Moon - Announce Trailer | PS5 Games 4 weeks ago:
I disagree. I played it all the way through, yet I never managed to play any of the Fromsoft games more than maybe 10 minutes because I feel that they are too clunky.
- Comment on Crimson Moon - Announce Trailer | PS5 Games 4 weeks ago:
I’ll take the original Lords of the Fallen over the new one or any of the Dark Souls games any day. People have different tastes.
- Comment on Horizon Hunters Gathering - Announcement Trailer | PS5 Games 5 weeks ago:
I hate everything about this. I hope it does well enough that it doesn’t shut down their studio.
- Comment on Tesla profit tanked 46% in 2025 | TechCrunch 1 month ago:
Investors largely expected the decline in sales in Tesla’s fourth quarter and full-year results for 2025, and the company beat Wall Street’s estimates for earnings and revenue, sending shares up in after-market trading Wednesday.
Remember, this is talking about profits, not revenue. They’re still making profit. They did shit profits, but it was more than people expected them to make, so shares went up. Fuck Tesla.
- Comment on Why are people still romanticizing No Man’s Sky’s “redemption” arc? 1 month ago:
lol, look at OP’s only other post. Looks like another account for my block list.
- Comment on Is there desire for Capt. Una spin-off? 1 month ago:
Personally, I wasn’t particularly enthused with the character. I didn’t gravitate towards her at all. If they did something like that, I’d still check it out because SNW was so good, but I’d rather see something with Ortegas (not as captain, obviously).
- Comment on Behind the Scenes - Prince of Persia (1989) [Making of] 2 months ago:
For anyone interested in this, I would also recommend reading the original dev diaries: www.jordanmechner.com/en/books/journals/
I really enjoyed the read, personally.
- Comment on Is there a point we can track down when we stopped caring about doctors, nurses, teacher, etc? And thought it was a great idea to pay atheletes millions and screw everyone else? 2 months ago:
I don’t think doctors fit in that group. They are paid well, and respected, far more than nurses on both accounts.
- Comment on Hulu officially launching on Disney Plus across the globe — here's when it's coming 5 months ago:
Thanks for the reminder to cancel Hulu.
- Comment on 5 months ago:
That’s intentional.
Smart glasses also raise many privacy concerns, as their cameras and microphones may be recording at any given time, which can be unnerving to people. When Google launched their Google Glass smart glasses, this led to the coining of the term ‘glasshole‘ for people who refuse to follow perceived proper smart glasses etiquette.
- Comment on Lords of the Fallen 2 Will Be Revealed During Gamescom 6 months ago:
Funny enough, the original is the one I like. Hated the reboot.
- Comment on Lords of the Fallen 2 Will Be Revealed During Gamescom 6 months ago:
I’m so tired of game naming trends. Let’s not make any mention of the sequel being a sequel and name the third game number two!
- Comment on OpenAI just launched its new ChatGPT Agent that can make as many as 1 complicated cupcake order per hour, but even Sam Altman says you probably shouldn't trust it for 'high-stakes uses' 7 months ago:
For anyone wondering what the fuck that title meant:
OpenAI research lead Lisa Fulford told Wired that she used Agent to order “a lot of cupcakes,” which took the tool about an hour, because she was very specific about the cupcakes.
“It was easier than me doing it myself,” Fulford said, “because I didn’t want to do it.”
- Comment on John Wick Hex will be removed from sale on all platforms beginning July 17th, 2025 7 months ago:
It was okay. Nothing exciting, but one aspect of it that I did like is that you can choose to watch your choices happen in real time after you finish a level, which - although not the smoothest - does actually make it feel like John Wick just rolled through.
- Comment on Japan using generative AI less than other countries 7 months ago:
Japanese people tend to make a big deal out of the “human touch,” especially when it comes to service
Aren’t they the ones that first came up with robot servers in restaurants? Or maybe that was South Korea?
- Comment on 32, f. Are there any dating sites that are actually free and don't suddenly force me to pay to actually use the site? 8 months ago:
Well, shit. I pulled out my laptop to grab the scripts and it looks like the extension was updated and it wiped them out. I didn’t have them backed up anywhere else, so I guess their gone unless I find myself back on the apps again (please, god, no…).

OkCupid was amazing 15 years ago, but it’s pretty shit now. For what OP is looking for, it’s probably still the best option, but it’s a very low bar.
OP, if you want to check out OkCupid, message me. I can set you up with a couple of browser scripts I wrote to improve the website experience. One will show you your matches’ photos. You won’t be able to view their profiles, but people that like you will generally show up in the profiles you’re shown pretty quickly, so it’s easy to find them. The other will need to be slightly tailored to you if you want to use it, but it will automatically skip any profiles that are showing to you that don’t meet your minimum requirements, and even alert you if one of them liked you instead of just skipping it, just in case you’d like to give it a closer look before you make a final decision.
- Comment on Microsoft is closing down Xbox studio The Initiative, with Perfect Dark killed as well — joining Everwild and ZeniMax's new IP, and other unannounced projects 8 months ago:
Agreed. I really wish more multiplayer games would put in bot options. I am firmly an anti-PVP player, but I would play the hell out of some of the big PVP games if they gave me a pure PVE option.

To be fair to MS, they bought that with Rare a long time ago, and they have put out a perfect dark game since then.

Thanks for the correction. I was also looking forward to Perfect Dark. Been a big fan since the original on N64, hence the username.
