I second this. I am having the same issue in Jerboa, but also through the web interface. First page loads just fine, but no additional pages will load

Sverkel has so many good scenes, and he has so many memorable quotes. I love his quote about being empty being the perfect start to change yourself, and how acquiring so much wealth that others would seek to take it causes conflict.

You are so spot on with Dead by Daylight. If the survivor chosen to get “rushed down” has a couple specific things in their build or their team can play around it, it becames a huge uphill battle for the killer to get anyone else, but in public games often the teams aren’t coordinated enough, or the survivor chosen isn’t skilled enough to stall it out

And nothing else? You sure about that? No statements on how chaining prisoners to the floor is totally fine and normal?
Luckily someone already got your number in the other thread you made:

Shaders are typically code run on the GPU to make your game look good. They power lighting and various effects used in rendering the game. Virtually everything uses shaders, and precompiling them can save a lot of resources over having to compute them on the fly, but comes with associated hassles.

- Comment on Which anime do you enjoy with a mostly adult cast of characters? 2 months ago:
This was harder to answer than I thought, pushing up to 20 eliminates a lot of contenders I think. I would say maybe Vinland Saga? The main character starts as a child, but it also covers a large time span so he hits twenty partway through the second season. Major recurring characters are almost all adults throughout. Its a semi-historical anime set mostly in England and Denmark during a war between the two. It’s a show that deals heavily with violence and trauma, has some very complex characters, and I can’t recommend it strongly enough

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! The series blew me away and it’s wonderful to see others get to experience it. Thank you for the update 😃
- Comment on Are there any video games in the Warhammer universe that are actually good? 2 months ago:
Second this, if you like X-Com style combat this will really hit the spot. Abilities stack and are comboable in really fun ways. The only complaint is that there is a lot of text in this game, which can be tough if you’re playing with friends, and six characters can be a lot to level up and equip.
- Comment on Please suggest some Gundam-like shows to watch 3 months ago:
No mecha, but for War is Bad and child soldiers I feel like you can’t do better than Vinland Saga. Its a story about war, the trauma it causes, and recovering from that trauma. Its a historical war manga by someone who abhors violence and its stunningly beautiful
- Comment on Why do many search engines seem to ignore operators (e.g. exact phrases, term exclusions, OR, etc.)? Is there a good reason for having a dumb 1997-level search logic that I'm not seeing? 4 months ago:
Because business majors decided a search engines primary job was actually to serve you ads rather than to help you search for things

The fact that no charges are being filed should result in a strong condemnation and accountability for the administration and the cops. You put everyone in danger when no crime was being committed. There won’t be, but there should be.

- Comment on Bullying in Open Source Software Is a Massive Security Vulnerability 7 months ago:
Closed source software has the exact same bullying issue, the difference is instead of the bullies being random people on the internet, they are managers with power over you. They are at least as likely to make you do something dangerous as the randoms, but they don’t have to try as hard to hide it.

I wouldn’t dismiss this just yet. Mozilla has already been doing some open source AI work, specifically their speech offerings. If they invest in these and they get better I think we all stand to gain from having good text to speech and speech recognition available outside of Apple/Amazon/Microsoft/Google
