- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 1 month ago:
I bought some SNES shells to put on my joy cons. Was pretty cheap and decent fun. Even switched to hall effect sticks.
Didn’t even need Nintendo to produce them and sell them as a premium. eXtremeRate and probably many others let you make your own limited edition. As long as you don’t want any copyrighted trims like logos.

I don’t get the hype for the anniversary edition.
I haven’t heard it would launch, and one day I saw people offering 2000$ for one on a trade site. My only thought was “wow, glad im not a fucking idiot like these guys”.
I sure might be stupid, but not that stupid.
- Comment on How to treat a man 2 months ago:
Her comment jump to the conclusion that men should be tasered for no particular reason. Looking at suicide ratings it obvious men are subject to a lot of mental stress and pressure from society.
Women should be protected and cared for. Men should be tasered.

And if this person was an autist and some celebrity smacked back they would get shamed for assaulting an autist.
This kind of content is for edgy teens in the “gotcha” phase.
- Comment on Dayuuum 2 months ago:
Now in curious.
Maybe it was an honest question, but the person has some issues with understanding time and place. So she decided to verbaly assault him?
Could be in bad faith. But without proper knowledge we dont know.
Lemmy absolutely loves shit like this somehow.

It’s the best solution I’ve found. I’m convinced it’s a faulty product which everyone pretends is nice.

They’re usually very uniform. Loads of people use them regularly, but it’s so awkward to carry.
I rarely do, but when I do I’m just struggling with it. I prefer a back pack for all carrying purposes myself. I just don’t get how people haven’t given up on them.

Switched to apple TV already. Googles lame ad infused cheap plastic remote did the trick on me. They have to pay ME if they want a Youtube and Netflix ad laying on my table at home.

Gabe is the smartest guy in business. Guy is rolling in cash, only for himself and those he choose to share it with.
Idk what they teach you in business school, but it’s probably wrong.

Some nut: I haven’t been mad today. I need something to be mad about.
Apple launched an ad.
The nut: perfect.
- Comment on Am I supposed to ask stupid questions here, or *not* ask stupid questions? 5 months ago:
You are supposed to ask questions that might be viewed as stupid, and you should receive an answer without judgement.
If you do that though you will get fucked and asked to install Linux.

I know more about polar bears than the others. But I’ve heard the saying; if it’s black, fight back. If it’s brown, lay down. If it’s white, good night.
- Comment on Mean world syndrome has reacted a fever pitch. 5 months ago:
I live rather far north yes. I’ve seen polar bears before when traveling in the deep arctic. I have never seen any other bear.
Black bears are pretty scared of people as far as I’ve seen online. Polar bears are afraid of missing a meal.
- Comment on Mean world syndrome has reacted a fever pitch. 5 months ago:
Can the woman choose which kind of bear?
Is it a black bear or polar bear? What kind of bear are we talking about here? If she can choose the bear, can she also choose the man?
Is it random bear and random man? Random bear gives a rather high chance of polar bear. Random man gives a rather low chance of violent man.
We need a random bear man simulator to run the data. We deserve answers!
I don’t care for the debate. I care for statistics.

- Comment on What kind of a gift can you give your teacher out of respect, but that doesn’t get mistaken for romance? 8 months ago:
I have gifted teachers Cognac before. Some decent bottle of liquor if they’re into that is fine. But early 20s might not be the target audience for brown spirits.
Make sure they’re not alcoholic or a recovering one.
- Comment on Nintendo Is Telling Game Publishers Switch 2 Will Be Delayed 8 months ago:
You don’t buy Nintendo for pure computing power. I prefer Nintendo consoles for the portability and game library.
I also have a pc with a 3070ti for more demanding games. Games that Xboxes and playstations runs like shit anyway.

- Comment on Apple’s “carbon neutral” claims are facing increased scrutiny 1 year ago:
Apple could use Coca Cola’s defence on the vitamin water lawsuit.
“no consumer could reasonably be misled into thinking vitaminwater was a healthy beverage.”
No reasonable customer should believe their products is carbon neutral.
Unless the product is fucking logs found in the woods.
Great thing we actually have organizations to shit down this shenanigans.
- Comment on why is Channel 16 the international maritime distress and calling channel? 1 year ago:
I believe this is for ease of use. When using HF or MF you have to set the frequency yourself. That is a level above The required SRC - short range certificate needed for a VHF.
