Opt out is such a shitty practice. Especially for AI generation

So LG and Samsung likely have tons of illegal (copyright) content on their servers then? Ownership is 9/10ths of the law so they say. That’s gotta be exabytes

That is an instant skip for me. Same with the vertical split with just pointing at the video and adding nothing of substance while shrinking the video

They had better bring up that Secure Boot f up too
- Comment on Peloton announces $95 “used equipment activation fee” 3 months ago:
Thanks, I meant terms & conditions, fixed. If I buy a product that does not have an activation fee in the t&c at time of purchase, legally I probably shouldn’t have to pay it even if they implement it later and I waited to activate. That would maybe still require you to sign up even if you aren’t paying to get the t&c then though. It could be argued that since the fee was not in place at time of purchase it shouldn’t apply and that is what I meant by ‘sticky’ is all.
- Comment on Peloton announces $95 “used equipment activation fee” 3 months ago:
My thoughts exactly. This seems like a short term play to boost the stock price, let execs get out of the market, then sell off the company before it goes under.
Also how are they gonna prove you didn’t buy it before the announcement and just didn’t register/use it until after? Seems to me that’s gonna be sticky in the eyes of copyright

Yeah I’m getting an RMA. This solution gave me stability in the mean time though. I still have to pay shipping/handling though

Get one with a swiping feature (not sure if yours has it already). They are way more accurate with autocorrect. I think I used SwiftKey when I was on Android

Can we get a 2d printer that isn’t exploitative? I print on paper with a sharpie on my Ender because of bs like this

Looks like it is just for Dave the Diver. I wish they would have added it for Dredge too somehow but I was pretty happy with their recent DLC
- Comment on YouTube is increasing Premium prices in multiple countries, right after an ad-blocker crackdown | You either pay rightfully for the video content you consume, or you live with the ads. 1 year ago:
Yep. I tried doing this with Hulu’s self-serving ads and I blocked enough domains that it just quit working
- Comment on Here comes another Netflix price hike 1 year ago:
That would be awesome if I could get invites! I just set up a headless Ubuntu Server that will always be on and I can set up my seed ratio to infinite.
I’m rocking ProtonVPN pro with fiber so I have 1000Mbps up/down without vpn. Not exactly sure what the max up with that is.
As for proof I don’t have much. My only current one is 49gb downloaded v 53gb up
- Comment on Here comes another Netflix price hike 1 year ago:
Looks like IPT and TL are invite only or you can pay money… Is that how you got in or did you get an invite? Seems kinda sketchy sending them money for a seedbox I’ll never use. AT is inv only.

Ya they made them plastic bag width but also the length of the plate. So annoying

- Comment on Are vegetarians allowed to eat their own bogeys? 1 year ago:
I suppose one can’t be 100% vegan without completely going off grid and producing everything themselves. Modern vegetable farming techniques result in a large insect loss. My used car has leather seats. I can’t afford to buy a new one without them. Medicines these days say if they are vegan or not.
There is a large difference between causing rape/child theft/murder (dairy) murder (meat) and accidental insect killings though

Send the brigade
- Comment on Are vegetarians allowed to eat their own bogeys? 1 year ago:
I believe the answer is yes. Most vegans are vegans because they don’t want to exploit or harm any other creature. Picking your own nose implies that you consent to that activity and are not being exploited
- Comment on Google rolls out anti-stalking measures for AirTag and other Bluetooth trackers 1 year ago:
There should be a way to register it to property somehow. Might not be feasible for bikes and such but cars generally have Bluetooth or some sort of connection
- Comment on Google rolls out anti-stalking measures for AirTag and other Bluetooth trackers 1 year ago:
If you keep an AirTag in your car, would it alert a thief that they were being tracked if they stole your car?
