I don't know, I just don't think she's comfortable with fighting this battle in public. Considering how wild some conspiracy theories were getting, this info was probably just released to shut people up.

The way your comment is worded says you don’t know shit about firearms
Not sure why you felt the need to add this. If he did know more then he wouldn't have needed to ask.

I swear to god whenever there's a story about Uranus, it's like a competition just started for best title
- Comment on Do you think that membership into suicide pacts will increase dramatically within the next decade because the world is falling apart at the seams? 1 year ago:
Things are going to get worse, but acting like the world is going to end or that we can't do some damage control is extremely counter productive. Literally worse than doing nothing since this mindset also convinces others to do nothing.
- Comment on Scrolled across this ad on Reddit for an AI service to speak with the deceased 1 year ago:
Something like this doesn't seem like a healthy step towards accepting a loved one's death.
This company is (presumably) monetising it and advertising to people at a vulnerable time in their life.
Seems dystopian to me. - Comment on Microsoft Needs So Much Power to Train AI That It's Considering Small Nuclear Reactors 1 year ago:

- Comment on Every single Onewheel is being recalled after four deaths 1 year ago:
AFAIK it's not even 100$, but 100$ worth of store credit.ao people are being asked to return their device but it's ok, they get a tiny discount on the next one that functions pretty much the same.
- Comment on Every single Onewheel is being recalled after four deaths 1 year ago:
Onewheels are working as intended, however the cpsc put them under investigation because they questioned the safety of these boards. This recall/firmware update is the result of that.
- Comment on Every single Onewheel is being recalled after four deaths 1 year ago:
You're fine. It's a voluntary recall, they were pretty much forced to do one by the cpsc but the boards are working as intended. They've also released a firmware update that makes the board vibrate and make a noise as an additional safety measure. (Keep in mind this cannot be disabled under normal circumstances so if you already know how to ride safely you should consider if you want to install the new firmware or not)
Of course always wear at least a helmet and wristguards when riding.

The second back to the future movie even turns the villain into a trump-like megalomaniac

If they get access to our DNA they could even know if there's a history of illness in your family and use that to increase your rates. It's just one of the reasons why volunteering that data away freely to companies like 23andme is a terrible idea.
