Even so, academics is such a niche and marginal problem compared to, like, anything else that capitalism fucks up.
Scientists are still doing good things all the time under capitalism. Environmental sciences criticize problems that capitalists are loath to address all the time, but also apparently capitalism funded their research for a century.
This post is just more populist tanky agitprop to make dumb people angry and distrust institutions and science whenever it tells them something they don’t like.

A quick google shows Romans had a few words for prostitute, including meretrix, so it seems likely.

So you’re saying it’s for national security… and that’s unconstitutional?

YouTube shorts is such a hellhole that tiktokers migrating to it might improve things.

I guess I just didn’t know that LLMs were set up his way. I figured they were fed massive hash tables of behaviour directly into their robot brains before a text prompt was even plugged in.
But yea, tested it myself and got the same result.

I didn’t know why I was seeing acorns all over my feed but I think I can hazard a guess after seeing this. I’m guessing an acorn dropped on a cop car and the pig emptied his clip into someone?

Yea that’s my guess, or one of the cheaper brands like himacs if they are willing to fuck around with it like this haha

It looks like acrylic, either some cowboys got a hold of some cheaper stuff and are wacking it in, or a tradie sent this pic back to his boss to give them a heart attack (the stuff is expensive af)

Repairs on marbled Corian can be pretty hard to match cleanly, so hopefully it isn’t that. Whenever I’ve installed these we always cut the sinks out at the factory, but I guess you could use a router onsite 🤷
- Comment on Call me for all your home design needs. 4 months ago:
Most sinks are installed on top because it’s easier and cheaper, but some are installed underneath because it looks better.

Any idea what material the countertop is made of? Looks like acrylic.

I guess I hadn’t really thought about it much because I consider using edge on windows the best choice, but the choice should not be interfered with, even if it is the wrong one.

Hentai is NOT banned here in Australia. As an Australian I’m sure you knew that and had some reason to lie. The freaks who import DVDs from Japan depicting minors are getting targeted by immigration, but it isn’t a general ban. But who cares about them? If they are looking for something too fucked up to be on the internet it’s probably pedophilia. Also I want you to know that every time I hear someone bring up that hentai is fictional and above criticism I assume they are an actual child molester.

I had a bunch of hexbear and ml’s tell me russian war crimes in Berlin were “Nazi myths”. Apparently the Nazis had more influence over the world of historical academia after they lost than Russia.
Also other allied war crimes did happen and weren’t Nazi myths.

Amazon turned out really weird. I feel like the idea of Amazon should be consolidating reputable retailers together, but they decided to open the floodgates to random people and now it’s little better than wish.com. Maybe they should split the site up and push all the random sellers onto a different platform.
- Comment on In its first week, Immortals of Aveum had a peak count of just 751 players on Steam. 10 months ago:
Same, although maybe it was targeted more at console players and fans of fps games. I looked it up just now and it looks well made, and also interesting. Finger guns and lots of movement, etc. Something went very wrong to get low numbers on this.
- Comment on What game feels 'timeless' to you? 11 months ago:
A good level in that game goes harder than any current AAA fps I can think of. Probably the remakes get pretty close, and they blew everyone away because they were a massive improvement to the fps formula, but idk if I’d ever call the remakes “timeless”.
