The sad part as I read it is that you actually have to work 8 hours at all. Productivity has increased more than thrice in the last few decades, yet, the early industrialization 8+ hours are still the norm while it has been proven to be unproductive for most jobs and defiantly unhealthy. Or at least that is what I interpret into it. There are different models of work breaks, I think the french have a somewhat long lunch break because they celebrate it more while other work cultures are more on the nutrition acquisition road

There are some japanese mechanical pencils that rotate the lead a bit every time you push it down.
That vendor, jetpens, is an american site that imports from japan…but sitting in europe, for now this seems to be the best method of acquiring japanese writing stuff short of actually flying there personally. You might find that interesting. There are some stylish ones, I wish they had existed when I was younger and needed them in school

Interesting, but what does this solve what Bookstack does not solve? I mean sure, it looks nice and hacky and all that. But if i am going to host some note thingy, www.bookstackapp.com is right there and apparently the dev nowadays lives from the thing (which is nice i guess). Not to belittle your project in anyway, even if something like your thing would exist exactly as that its still commendable but i am already running Bookstack and this seems to add anything to any use case i could think off.

That’s kinda how hacking in half life alyx works, the vr game, it feels a lot better than the ol’ lockpicking in pancake games
