You’re not very familiar with 3D printing as a hobby are you.
But yea, it’s probably way worse that the PET you drink your water from.

I wonder if some form of bit torrent client may be of use here.

That’d be epic. I am imagining a Socrates chatbot now.

I love the idea

I feel like you are being sarcastic which is good. Some say he wrote the book.
As a more serious note, it should be pretty possible to 3D scan the heads of anyone and turn them all into planters.

Should work well with most nozzle sizes.
I printed use 3 wall loops, lightening infill, and some customized support settings I don’t have off the top of my head.
- Comment on Et tu, Brute? Brutus planter 4 months ago:
Should be fixed now. Thank you for trying.
It’s about the size of a Bambu build plate, so around 250mmx250mmx250mm. It should scale down easily, up may work, but there could be a limit due to the drainage holes.

Note: -This will help me in a couple ways. Mainly, testing my website, and its ordering process (it really hasn’t seen any use).
- I don’t really care about emails/phone numbers when ordering, but right now I am using a standard Wix based website and I don’t know how to remove those fields, yet.
- Comment on Et tu, Brute? Brutus planter 4 months ago:
Thank you!
A small amount of supports were removed. No other post processing.
The filament is Overture’s Rock White PETG.

- Comment on Bambu X1C Purge and Prime 6 months ago:
It’s going to have some filament waste regardless, but there some things you can to reduce the waste.
Have a purge object, check purge to infill setting, explore reducing the purge filament between material changes.
Most importantly print multiples if possible… It purges the same amount whether you are printing one object, or twenty.

My Mini Factory has a project called Scan the World. Stuff like this can be found there.
- Comment on What's your filament usage rate? 7 months ago:
I am not opposed, assuming there isn’t a severe quality concern. I would rather like a way to recycle my waste plastic. There isn’t really anyone local that will recycle PETG or PLA.
- Comment on What's your filament usage rate? 7 months ago:
Ideally. Right now, I feel like I am just building a knowledge of art history.
- Comment on What's your filament usage rate? 7 months ago:
At the moment, sculptures. They are between 200-300g per print. I am kicking off prints twice a day, for three printers.
- Comment on What's your filament usage rate? 7 months ago:
It’s not without flaws, but I would recommend.
Just know that it adds time and waste to prints.
There is also a nice feature that allows you to automatically switch over to a new roll when the 1st roll runs out. That’s nice.
