There’s men in the 60s that are that way and men who aren’t. I’ve met plenty of misogynistic zoomers too but don’t classify the entire generation that way.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
This is pretty misleading. There was a mix of people good and bad, just like there is now. Plenty of racist and hateful millennials/zoomers as well that lean conservative.
- Comment on New Vaccine Can Completely Reverse Autoimmune Diseases Like Multiple Sclerosis, Type 1 Diabetes, and Crohn’s Disease 1 year ago:
This honestly sounds like what I’ve been experiencing for months and my Dr can’t figure it out, the leading guess right now is long covid. I noticed on the Wikipedia page it even mentions long covid, are they similar? Does your lymph node randomly swell up?
- Comment on Apple users bash new iPhone 15: ‘Innovation died with Steve Jobs’ 1 year ago:
There’s nothing ignorant about people who prefer iOS over Android. Yes, you’re being insulting in a chronically online way.
- Comment on Contrary to rumors, the iPhone 15 has a standard, by-the-book USB-C port 1 year ago:
I highly doubt they’ll do that as they’ve had USB-C on their iPads for a few years now already and haven’t. I’m using Anker/other cables I got for 1/3 the price of Apple’s and they work just fine at proper speeds.
- Comment on Apple users bash new iPhone 15: ‘Innovation died with Steve Jobs’ 1 year ago:
This is a take I would expect to see on Reddit, it’s simply not true.
- Comment on Apple users bash new iPhone 15: ‘Innovation died with Steve Jobs’ 1 year ago:
I don’t know what people are expecting anymore, phones are a mature market. Short of something like foldables (which don’t seem to be catching on) they’re going to be iterative updates. Look at TVs and computers. Years of big advancements and then they’re iterative.
Also the NY Post is an absolutely terrible publication to link to.
- Comment on Unity temporarily closes offices amid death threats following contentious pricing changes 1 year ago:
That doesn’t mean making decisions that can ultimately hurt the business or their partners though. You can be greedy while not alienating the developers who drive the company’s profits. Decisions like these could make them lose millions or even go out of business.
- Comment on Unity rushes to clarify price increase plan, as game developers fume 1 year ago:
It’s the incessant want and need for more, more more. If they made $2 billion in profit last year it needs to be $3 billion this year, it can’t just be a continued $2 billion (which is still an amazing amount of profit). It’s just a never ending scheme of incurable human greed.
- Comment on What are the connotations of Joe Rogan? 1 year ago:
No one is shutting down anything, they’re using their speech to classify things as misinformation. You’re allowed to note things are lies or untrue.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
Some people can’t do this or had an emergency and needed to use their credit card. Lower interest rates are manageable.
- Comment on What are the connotations of Joe Rogan? 1 year ago:
Which is weird. You can not like him and enjoy the show, especially since his lines were written for him and he was a small part of it. You could enjoy Fear Factor too, it’s not anything like how he is now.
- Comment on What are the connotations of Joe Rogan? 1 year ago:
He told people repeatedly to take ivermectin, was critical of masks, downplayed the severity and impact of Covid and has guests like Alex Jones, Jordan Peterson and Matt Walsh.
- Comment on What are the connotations of Joe Rogan? 1 year ago:
What this response signals to me is that if you’re critical or point out the negatives of what Rohan does, your opinion doesn’t matter. I’ve seen plenty of accurate responses here.
- Comment on What are the connotations of Joe Rogan? 1 year ago:
You know that’s a real word that applies to things right? If someone is saying the earth is actually flat and making up things to prove it, that’s misinformation.

I’m not sure why this would ever come up in a job interview, it’s not your employer’s business.
- Comment on It's not just you — no one is posting on social media anymore 1 year ago:
The entire concept of just sharing images of your kids online is weird to me to me begin with. Just make a photo album like everyone else did prior to social media. This person is upset the same 8 people are liking their photos, give up on the need for attention and just live your life.

You’re probably just excited for the game because you’re looking forward to it. Happens to lots of people.

Too bad no one took it seriously at the time and repeatedly ignored her. It’s so unfortunate only now once its getting media coverage that they’re doing anything.
- Comment on 'TikTok brain' may be coming for your kid's attention span 1 year ago:
This is definitely a thing. The amount of people claiming to have ADHD now is out of control when in reality they can’t not pick up their phone for a dopamine hit every five seconds. This is a lot different than books and media of the past.
There’s almost never a time I’m in public anymore without people glued to their phones playing Tik Toks on speaker and acting like no one exists, or using their phones in a movie theatre etc etc. it’s a problem.
- Comment on Why you shouldn't use Brave Browser 1 year ago:
People are allowed to support whatever they feel like, especially when they don’t want to support someone’s bigoted beliefs. Is that not the free market?
