Convenience > performance all day errday so the rpi 5 takes the cake.
- Comment on Raspberry Pi 5 vs Intel N100 mini PC comparison - Features, Benchmarks, and Price 1 month ago:
No one would want to buy this to use with high-demanding applications, but for hobbies and trivial stuff. With that said, even a Orange pi zero 3 is “better” than both Rpi 5 and the n100.
tl;dr: The magic word is convenience.

Videogames (also) do get “older” so the “retro” bar tends to raise.

Yep. And I still play from time to time, despise getting my arse served by most players. And I’ve got to admit that hand tension is exactly -THE- “main” problem for me, despise trying to be as relaxed as possible with drinks and the like. I do have lots of “Why my crosshair isn’t moving to where I want it to go?” moments due to it.
…and I… (kind of) given up, honestly. I’m about to be a 40 year old geezer, so eh.

Indeed. Theres also burst firing, which can get significantly easier/more “natural”. Or when you are an old chap like me who panicks all the time, lessening the effect quite significantly as well.

That is an interesting take, which (also) makes sense – each millimeter matters when you are using a weapon that demands the most precision in order to hit your targets. And multitasking with your “aiming hand” can mean the difference between being able to hit your target or not. Even so while burst firing.

Well, I tried this idea with Planetside 2 (Which is a very “messy” game where it can easily use more than 10 hotkeys at a time) and it started to feel “natural” after 30 minutes - 1 hour of gaming. And can’t really give you a key mapping that will work for you “just like that” but try placing your “non-aiming” hand at the keyboard and pay attention to where your finger(s) are and change your shooting hotkey to one of your “non-occupied” fingers are. Then test it for a while, and see if it “feels right”. If it doesn’t, then switch to something else.
As for me, left shift felt more “natural” for me since I use WASD and my left lands exactly to where the left shift is.

Yes. Like left shift instead of left mouse click.
And I honestly don’t know.

Are you talking about remapping your mouse buttons to keyboard buttons?
Exactly.

I’ve no idea. But yeah, it does work wonders.

Chrono Trigger for the “trippy” story.
Pretty much any NES game for the “gamer” soundtrack (beep bops.)

So apparently this subreddit is “based on hate” – bashing (anything that is on the trend, despise being “a dead horse” or not) = good. Posting actual technology related news = bad. Welp, I’m not staying on ANOTHER circlejerk, thank you very much.

Since when a rule change to (any site whatsoever) related to technology in any way? Yeah, we get it, you HATE “Xtwitter” and want it to burn but please… you are beating a dead horse at this rate. Just let it go.
That, or the mods around here need a reality check and start dropping some chill pills (i.e temp. bans) on users like OP…

As someone who stood in front of some dude trying to force me to suck his dick (and I fucked off immediately) and getting back assaulted by randoms on the midschool (while dressed) yet I’m still an hetero, biological male…? What the heck is going on? Why on earth I’d start sucking dicks just because I saw some dude naked on screen? That’d be ridiculous, and a demonstration of a severe lack of wit and common sense. That is like, staring at my own cock would make me gay or something amongst those lines.
