  This is upsetting as fuck. This one picture just made me realize that Lemmy is likely never going to get much bigger. The top is just an exact clone of Reddit, meaning there’s no reason to use it over Reddit, and the next three are active propaganda mills filled with fascists and tankies. After that you get normal servers. That’s a terrible look.   I haven’t seen a TON like I assume most on this comm have, but for me Grave of the Fireflies. It was too real for an animated film. Not in the sense that kids can’t handle reality, but just in the fact that it’s NON-STOP misery for the characters. There’s literally never a high moment in the movie, just tragedy after tragedy happening to children.

  I agree overall, but the cost argument has always been a joke to me. It doesn’t NEED to cost more, but they allow companies to monopolize everything in this country and tie their friends into legislation, even pertaining to murdering people, so they can charge whatever they want for their “products” and they don’t have to worry about competition.
