This game absolutely blew me away.

One of my favorites for sure. I hope they make another action RPG without roguelike elements.

There needs to be a post about ‘what will be the next great exodus’ so we can prepare for that too. 😁

First, that is an awesome design
Second, the post is so large that it was almost unreadable on mobile. I’ve never had that happen before

This game looks sick and I’m so fucking into it. I hope it runs great and doesn’t have any issues on pc because the prince of persia’s were always some of my favorite games back in the day. It’s pretty good I think, to see them taking a different approach this time.

The second thing you mentioned is what I’m asking about. A browser doesn’t solve this problem (as far as I know) because It’s still using the steam webpage’s interface. It would have to be some kind of alternative website frontend that grabs all the data from the steam website and gives it back to you in a different (better) way.

I’m never on here during work. Even if I was, that point is pretty unhelpful. I think it’s a normal thing for people to want an unlimited supply of content, as that’s what we’ve gotten used to and that’s what these websites are for. What’s it to you, to dictate how I want to use my time? Whether this behavior is a good or bad thing is another argument. I think the limited content supply a concession that most people have accepted here, on Lemmy, but I also think that it’s possible that it wouldn’t have to be a concession as the platforms grow and get better.

I wish I could wrap my head around freecad, but we’re just not there yet and we may never be.
May I ask why it is that you say this?

I can not understand how someone in their right mind would be looking at any content firehose without filtering, but it seems like that this is the reality for many.
I typically browse subscribed until I’m seeing posts I’ve already viewed. I occasionally switch to all to see if I will find any new content/ communities to subscribe to. How do you typically do it?

zenphone might be another option for you too, I know that one was relatively standard/normal sized. Can’t call them compact, in my opinion.

It isn’t that compact. Comparatively, sure, but objectively, no. My samsung s10e is smaller and more lightweight and it’s not even that compact in my opinion. There hasn’t been a truly compact mainstream phone since the Sony xperia xz1 compact. Before that it was the moto g. IPhone mini was pretty small, but fuck apple though.

Just a theory, but my guess is that the channel is beholden to youtube/google and therefore any harsh criticism or demonizing the platform is being avoided?

Action RPG’s are usually where it’s at for me.
- Comment on The Weekly 'What are you playing?' Discussion 11 months ago:
Agreed, it’s really good. I thought I was done with JRPG’s. Generally, they’re too slow paced for me and I don’t have as much time as I used to. I’ve really enjoyed this one so far though.
One of the features that I like is how even though the combat is turn based, it still feels active because of the timed button presses for attacking and defending. It definitely gives the traditional gameplay mechanic a breath of fresh air.

I really appreciate it when the sidebar has links to related communities, websites, etc. Those are some of my favorite rabbit holes to go down.
