- Comment on How can I improve my handwriting? 4 days ago:
Honestly, slow down the writing and just keep practicing.
- Comment on Gender-specific toilets to be required in non-residential buildings in England 1 month ago:
I find this funny because the government buildings I’ve been in all had gender specific toilets made universal instead. Apparently they can’t make their minds up
- Comment on Microsoft's draconian Windows 11 restrictions will send an estimated 240 million PCs to the landfill when Windows 10 hits end of life in 2025 3 months ago:
So many. Plus my own industry lives and dies on computers because a tablet just ain’t gonna cut it.

- Comment on HMRC has seen a 50% drop in investigations into wealthy tax evaders 4 months ago:
I’m not surprised. Anyone who has to interact with HMRC regularly knows they don’t have nearly enough staff and they are so behind it’s untrue. They likely don’t have the manpower to do investigations.
- Comment on Is there somewhere adults can speak to someone in times of crisis? 5 months ago:
There’s a website called 7 cups of tea which is what I think you might be thinking of www.7cups.com/community/
- Comment on People who order "a decaff coffee with an extra shot" - why? 5 months ago:
They usually charge for the extra shot
- Comment on No excuse for shoplifting because UK's benefits system is very generous, policing minister says 5 months ago:
I’ve had clients cry on the phone to me because their benefits wouldn’t be enough to live on. This minister knows nothing.
- Comment on [UK] Disabled people could be moved to care homes to save council money 5 months ago:
I think Bristol council are overestimating the amount of care home spaces there are…
- Comment on People who have time management skills let the clock become an intrusive thought so they develop an obsessive compulsion with being aware of the time. 5 months ago:
You’re describing OCD not time management skills
- Comment on Can this discoloration be fixed? Is it rust? 6 months ago:
It’s difficult to tell but as a long time glasses wearer I can tell you it’s probably just the sweat/oils of your head reacting with the metal of your glasses. You might be able to clean some of it off but it’s likely just going to be like that going forward.
- Comment on Disabled people must work from home to do ‘their duty’, says UK minister 7 months ago:
I sometimes wonder if our ministers have been replaced by soulless void creatures
- Comment on Nitrous oxide: Laughing gas possession becomes illegal 7 months ago:
This won’t stop people though, just criminalise them.
- Comment on How many of you have beaten the main story now? 7 months ago:
Once I figured out what the ending was I just lost interest.
- Comment on Model says her face was edited with AI to look white: ‘It’s very dehumanizing’ 7 months ago:
He’s denying it, yet it clearly has been changed.
- Comment on Leaks confirm low takeup for Windows 11 8 months ago:
They’ve already done that previously, years ago I had a ‘notebook’ with a version of Windows 7 where all options were ridiculously limited. Would never have bought the thing if I’d known.
- Comment on How do I get informed on Joe Rogan without watching his videos. 8 months ago:
Thankyou for those that gave constructive answers and didn’t assume anything about my relationship
- Comment on How do I get informed on Joe Rogan without watching his videos. 8 months ago:
At what point have I dictated his viewing? I’m guessing you’re not in a relationship, because it’s clear you are actually the one with a lot to learn.

- Comment on Paramedics not sent to a third of 999 ambulance calls in parts of England 9 months ago:
My friend had reacted very badly to chemo, and the nurse was worried about him once she came in to see him.
- Comment on Paramedics not sent to a third of 999 ambulance calls in parts of England 9 months ago:
I feel this article. My friend had missed chemo and his nurse was on my doorstep telling me to call an ambulance. Even though she was telling me he needed one, they refused to send one.

- Comment on Is it just me or is Starfield kinda meh? 9 months ago:
I feel similarly. One of the biggest things for me is how, although much does feel like a Bethesda game, there were some times it felt like they’d just take stuff out of other games and dumped it in. The lack of vehicles annoyed me too, and don’t get me started on the basically non existent local map
- Comment on Starfield players pirate the DLSS mod after the developer locks it behind paywall 9 months ago:
God forbid someone make money from the things they put time into!
- Comment on US Judge Refuses to Dismiss Lawsuit Accusing X of Age Bias in 2022 Layoffs 9 months ago:
That’s not the case everywhere.
- Comment on How did people refer to clockwise movement before the invention of the clock? 9 months ago:
I have one of these, it was a gag gift from a friend. I’ve had it up so long now though I have to double check which clock in looking at before I tell the time because I’ve got so used to it
- Comment on Netflix removes its basic tier in the US and the UK 11 months ago:
I paid the highest amount so my friend and her nuclear family could watch Netflix at the same time as my husband and I. They got shut out so I just cancelled. My friend bought a lower package so Netflix actually lost money. Not sure it is going to work out worth it for them overall.
