I’d be saying the same if OP’s son was his daughter. I’d never have guessed them.
- Comment on [deleted] 18 hours ago:
Wow is this me? Same situation, but conflicted because even though I find him an awful person he’s always provided for my family and continues to let me live rent free. We probably interact once a week.
- Comment on [deleted] 18 hours ago:
This is always an option. You don’t have to force it. As a personal example, I love pretty much everyone in my family but I don’t share any of their interests. Just talk with your son and be supportive like how the poster says. Who knows, might find some common interest eventually.
- Comment on [deleted] 18 hours ago:
I can see why you made this post. What a peculiar set of interests. Could probably find some crafts to do with him.

Jesus, found a Black Mirror writer.
- Comment on Apps doing year wrapped gives you a hint on how are you being tracked. There is probably a legal issue there somewhere like data retention. 1 day ago:
Isn’t that just basic data they already kept track of?

X4. The economy must flow.
- Comment on Longtime buddy of mine just got a gaming PC. What games would make up a good "welcome to PC" care package? 2 days ago:
Gift him a Starsector code or share your own if already have one.
Gift any super moddable games he likes. If he enjoys Bethesda games on consoles, he will definitely love PC only mods. Also explain to him what Big Picture Mode on Steam is. I wish I knew it existed when I started. Get the same console experience and seamless controller integration even if the game doesn’t officially support it.

That better be a fake image otherwise you just posted a giant spoiler.

The hornies don’t like you singling them out, OP.

Those old fashion logos are actually sick. Concerning that an industry that sells style would make these their logos.

I was just about to do this but this professor seems like an ass so better to change class. Go fuck yourself, Cengage Mindtap.
- Comment on UK's first 'teacherless' AI classroom set to open in London 3 months ago:
As stupid as it is, hoping to see the results. It does sound like a neat experiment but even if it is “successful” (my definition probably differs from their’s), a good teacher is more than just a learning tool. AI would never replace the empathy and dedication.
- Comment on A Prominent Accessibility Advocate Worked With Studios and Inspired Change. But She Never Actually Existed. 4 months ago:
Wild fucking read. Was thinking maybe his first girlfriend was using a pseudonym (Turkish-born named Susan Banks?), but conveniently no one has met all 3 of his activist girlfriends. The last bit about the guy deleting all his social media posts AND his last “girlfriend” doing the same after IGN reached out is glaringly suspicious.

This sounds like you want Deadlock. MOBA with third-person shooter mechanics.

I don’t understand the attraction to Twizzlers but I will die defending those delicious cookies. Just got to find a brand that actually puts filling. Great with milk.

Rap songs where the artist just blurts out random words.

Wow, this guy has serious punchable face energy. It’s not even that interesting, the leakers he catches (or at least the only ones he talks about) are really dumb (one is a child who data mined!).
- Comment on Meet the New Class of Cadets in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy 5 months ago:
They expanded it by making quality shows. Also isn’t your first line contradictory since this is aimed at a younger demographic?
- Comment on Meet the New Class of Cadets in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy 5 months ago:
I enjoyed Riverdale. I would never want it to replace a Star Trek show. A teen drama with Star Trek dressing absolutely stinks of desperation from Paramount.
- Comment on Meet the New Class of Cadets in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy 5 months ago:
As if Star Trek is starving for a fan base.

Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves…
These executives are allergic to making good shows.

- Comment on If I sign up on a hot air balloon ride and there is bad weather can I get my money back? 8 months ago:
Oh absolutely, still in agreement with you. I just thought they were outright stealing your money. Time is still valuable. I don’t think a balloon ride might be a guarantee though, just the nature of it. Hope you guys find a way!
- Comment on If I sign up on a hot air balloon ride and there is bad weather can I get my money back? 8 months ago:
Oh wow, I missed that sentence. Makes sense now, nevermind!
- Comment on If I sign up on a hot air balloon ride and there is bad weather can I get my money back? 8 months ago:
He doesn’t have to pay for another flight? Thought it was like water parks where your money just goes into the ether if it rains.
- Comment on If I sign up on a hot air balloon ride and there is bad weather can I get my money back? 8 months ago:
That’s interesting, glad you brought extra context. Wouldn’t a better option be to factor the losses from bad weather into the price instead?
- Comment on If I sign up on a hot air balloon ride and there is bad weather can I get my money back? 8 months ago:
That still doesn’t make any fairer. OP expects a service for their money. If there happens to be bad weather, it’s not right for the company “sorry, too windy, come again another time with more money”.
Also don’t gatekeep balloon rides, it’s not like you’re renting a private jet.
