Maybe a Lemmy specific url shortener that only works for lemmy posts.
- Comment on Feedback about our name: someone's concerns on sharing 3 weeks ago:
Would a URL shortener work better for sharing Lemmy links/instances?
- Comment on What does this emoji mean? Is this a British thumbs up? 4 weeks ago:
Known it as hang loose since the 80’s from Hawaii

Applesauce ice cream sounds foul.
- Comment on Is this a triangle? 2 months ago:
It’s a bowl cut with a part down the middle, so no.

Then OpenAI should pay for a copy, like we do.
- Comment on Why is homebrewing so middle-class, straight, white, male? 4 months ago:
Not so much the first part. Home brewing is one of the easiest low cost for entry hobby.
- Comment on Windows 11 is now automatically enabling OneDrive folder backup without asking permission 4 months ago:
Oddly enough, OneDrive is the least of my problems with windows. It’s pretty handy at work since I have to juggle tasks between multiple PCs. My only hang up with Linux is games, which is odd since time wise I don’t spend most of my time there.

I was 19, 5.25 an hour. Roomed with two family members and all of it went to rent. Also, 99. Whoppers, and gas was 1.19 at Arco.

These might work better as a round cookie and using the cutter as an imprint. Then you can color in the important bits with icing.
- Comment on Lemmy is popular nowadays, yet is losing its active users 1 year ago:
This is not a bad thing. Lurkers have always been a significant part of the user base in all social media.
- Comment on Do people just not use the YouTube subscription feed? 1 year ago:
On iOS iPad, the subscription feed doesn’t update/refresh after watching a video. The video remains in the queue (same place), with the red progress bar showing that it’s been watched or partially watched. Pulling down to refresh does nothing. Plus, I don’t want to watch every video from every subscription.
So instead, I use the algorithm in a way that benefits me. I let it suggest videos to watch until I feel it’s lost its way. Then I have to go and find videos from my primary interest to get the algorithm back on track.
- Comment on In light of articles all over Lemmy about Google pushing ManifestV3 onto Chrome and the majority of web users, isn't that an antitrust violation? 1 year ago:
Corporations are finding that the vocal minority is small enough that they can let them complain all they want, and nothing will change. There are now enough users out there that it just doesn’t matter what how much we complain online. They just have to wait it out since the silent majority just don’t care anymore.
Reddit, Netflix, Spotify, and now Google. It’s happening everywhere lately.
- Comment on I feel like I'm spending less time on social media after switching to Lemmy 1 year ago:
I am finding more time IRL now that I’ve converted to Lemmy. I’m learning a new language as well as learning chess. I think it’s because much of the new posts aren’t showing up in ALL/Subscribed so I end up consuming much of it faster than Reddit.
