- Comment on AMD's legacy Ryzen 7 5800X3D chips now sell for up to $800, more than a new 9800X3D — AM4 chip costs twice as much as MSRP, as enthusiasts flock to old DDR4 memory 1 week ago:
I fucked up by not buying a 5700X3D

Then I envy you guys, back in my time there were a ton of ‘songs’ to memorize all the important elements. Hated chemistry because of it.
- Comment on earth, fire, water, wind - it's not hard 2 weeks ago:
Common in Brazil, fucking hated it
- Comment on YSK that Stanford scientists examined what happens when people stop using social media. They found deactivating Facebook and Instagram significantly improved users' emotional well-being and happiness 2 weeks ago:
Can confirm, social media was making me depressed
- Comment on Samsung to halt SATA SSD production, leaker warns of up to 18 months of SSD price pressure, worse than Micron ending consumer RAM 2 weeks ago:
I’m glad I bought a spare SSD, can keep going if something bad happens. Even though my PC is kinda old rn, I don’t really play AAA games so I should be good for another 2 years
- Comment on New Community Rule: "No low-effort posts. This is subjective and will largely be determined by the community member reports." 3 weeks ago:
People called my first post here low effort and complained a lot so I deleted it. It was a screenshot of the jellyseerr announcement to merge with overseerr. They wanted a link of an article even though there was none and they only announced it on disc.
- Comment on Are people buying refurb pcs just to strip out the DDR 4 ram with the current price hikes on new ram? 3 weeks ago:
I bought a 2x16gb DDR4 kit just before all hell broke loose and it was pretty hard to find any, and the places I found it were asking for way too much. First one I bought was advertised as a kit but was singles so I returned it but now I think I should have kept those too haha but no way I wouldve known. But still managed to find a kit and buy it, glad I did. Maybe I should sell the 2x4gb DDR4 kit I replaced with the new one
- Comment on Are there any other anime with beautiful depictions of light and color like in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End? 4 weeks ago:
Hell yeah, let me know what you think!
- Comment on Are there any other anime with beautiful depictions of light and color like in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End? 4 weeks ago:
It does get sad, but you did ask for anime that could move you haha
Also, the anime never got a S2 and S1 is only a small part of the story, just a headsup. Looks amazing tho, just watch the OP, its one of the GOATs.
- Comment on Are there any other anime with beautiful depictions of light and color like in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End? 4 weeks ago:
I only read the manga but the anime covers just a tiny bit of the story, then the studio moved on to make Beastar which was a huge success so no S2
- Comment on Ron Gilbert cancels RPG project due to lack of support and funding 4 weeks ago:
Not having a quest log made that game hell for me. Massive world with tons of little quests that take you all over the map and no way to track progress or see what the last part of the quest is asking for.
- Comment on Are there any other anime with beautiful depictions of light and color like in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End? 4 weeks ago:
Houseki no Kuni. It’s the best 3D I’ve seen in an anime and each character is colourful and light is done super well too, give it a chance and watch one episode!

- Comment on Insane: Microsoft's latest ad proves how useless Copilot on Windows 11 actually is 1 month ago:
I think it’s funny that copilot goes around the Internet scraping everyone’s info but somehow doesn’t have access to a value in Windows’ own setting

I seriously can’t remember the last time a windows update added an actually useful feature for me. Its like they are actively avoiding making it any better at all.
- Comment on Does anyone else notice an up tick in hostility on Lemmy lately? 2 months ago:
Was a simple screenshot of a Discord announcement since they didnt have any links
- Comment on Does anyone else notice an up tick in hostility on Lemmy lately? 2 months ago:
For sure. I posted content on selfhosted for the first time and got called a “filthy boomer” because it was a screenshot, then people basically told me to grow thicker skin went I complained. Why be better than reddit huh? Guess people just want reddit 2.0

Did all countries involved in building the ISS decide that or was it decided by NASA unilaterally?

This actually worries me because the jellyseerr OIDC branch has been waiting for a merge for ages now and I think they might have to start another branch to add to the ‘new’ app. But I can say that branch works great right now, been using it Authelia no issues

“The internet sucks and if you want it to be better that means you are childish. Look how cool I am”
He literally posted earlier apologizing, admitting to being too harsh. But you know more than the commenter himself, ofc
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
I’m good, thank you for your comment though. I’m getting downvoted left and right even though I had to go into a discord server to get this news, not even reddit had any posts about it when I checked. Stuff like this is why Lemmy won’t grow, no constructive criticism, just calling OP names if I don’t follow some unspoken rule (also, they are ignoring rule 1 of the community) on my first post of this type here. I don’t get anything by going out of my way to bring news here, why should I bother if people are gonna complain like that?
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
There are many ways to give feedback, calling someone filthy is not close to the better ones, a simple “I really dislike when a post is only a screenshot, makes it hard to see. OP, you should try to write down what is in the screenshot too”. For a tiny community like Lemmy, we should be doing everything we can to incentivize posters whenever we can.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
Typical user with no posts complaining about users actually making posts.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
Way too aggressive for a “minor annoyance” but don’t worry, between your comment and the other guy telling me not post here again I won’t bother with such a toxic community
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
Oh wow, that’s one way to get me to never post anything here ever again. Sorry for being a “filthy boomer”, even though I’m not even a boomer
