After some issues started with an old hot end I can only chalk up to extreme clogging, I nabbed a new hot end, ran through calibration, and was met with odd issues I’ve never experienced before.

Certain layers on certain sections are acting like there has been extreme under extrusion, and gap fill is virtually non existent. Walls also don’t seem to be printing close enough to actually touch and results in what seems like paper thin layers next to each other.

This is on an Adventurer 5M, and we have tried another hot end in case the first one we bought had issues of its own.

I’ve tried increasing (through calibration in orca slicer) the flow rate and pressure advance. Both appear to be correctly calibrated. The base of this print is 100% infill and during print I saw nothing to suggest over/under flow.

At this point I’m wondering if the extruder motor is dying, but I am at a loss on how to test that, as most suggestions seem to be “rule everything else out.”
