This week I'm reading 'Radiant Star' by Ann Leckie.
It's slow and lovely and everything that Leckie does so well (I'm reading about water treatment on an alien planet right now). To go with my usual water-related comparison to reading, it's like soaking in a warm bath, where sometimes the water is a little too hot in places.
I feel that this book integrates some of the ideas she had for 'The Raven Tower' stories, but they fit better with her SF universe.
I am also listening to the end of 'The Furthest Station' by Ben Aaronovitch and will probably be starting 'Lies Sleeping' on my way home from the astronomy lecture tonight.
I've already said how much I love the Rivers of London books, and this one is just as delightful and filled with delightful ghosts!
