tbh I did a horrible paint job, but she still liked it
EDIT: the parts are 3d printed (not my model tho)
Cleaning up the print with some sandpaper might have made a big difference or is that paint chunks on the surface?

kinda both, there were small spikes on the surface, where the paint got chunky
Looks to be thick / undiluted paint. A spray can is cheat-mode for painting stuff like this though.
If your ever in a situation where both you and your mom are in that room and you get into an argument about destroying something and she gets really mad and starts throwing things and then throws something into that glass case and damaged that model you can say…

I know it’s natural that your eye can’t help but pick up defects, but overall it looks great, and each project looks a bit better.
why is it all white
As someone who makes art and sculptures from scratch, it always bothers me when people 3d print something and say “I made this”.
