- Comment on U.K. cops are going undercover as joggers. Will it stop women runners from being harassed? 2 weeks ago:
I see sexy women, men, everything in-between, surrounding and undesignatable jogging all time. They come in all shapes and sizes and what makes them sexy is that they’re either pushing themselves to try something new or they’re doing something they enjoy. Leave people the fuck alone a fitness journey should never be interrupted, least of all because you’re a horny entitled bastard.

- Comment on Elon Musk seeks to sell power to UK households within months 3 weeks ago:
To be fair, most people don’t need gas. A forward thinking government would convert everyone to heat pumps out of it’s own pocket. Within 50 years it’d pay itself off and in the meantime we’d be close to energy independence.

I’m not sure how that would look? We have companies selling both solar roofs and batteries in the UK and he doesn’t own any land for power generation. Even as a supplier, it’s a very saturated market. I mean, he’s a dickhead, but he’s not the boogie man.
- Comment on Elon Musk seeks to sell power to UK households within months 3 weeks ago:
I’m with you. My curiosity has me looking at it, but he’s very much unscrupulous and only out to make profit. Especially given the troubles he’s put his car business into. It’s sad that Britain Gas is such a cluster fuck that anyone can waltz in and we all pay attention hoping for something to upset the status quo.

I’m with most here in that I have little warm feelings towards Musk, but I’m curious about the subterfuge here? Isn’t he just essentially opening the door to selling preexisting products directly? Specifically the solar roof shingles and the powerwall. Both of which are already available in the UK via third parties.

Batteries. Dams do more damage than good. But there’s been some exciting developments in harvesting energy from waves.

You don’t think? To sell devices with said batteries in Europe, they have to comply, so like USB-C, it will have a knock-on effect.
