Abraham and Sarah were siblings. Abraham abandoned Ishmael for long periods of time. And Sarah told Abraham not to even dismount his horse while visiting Ishmael and Hagar.

It makes even more sense when you realize that Yahweh's history of being a war god, under other gods until war (or actually lost wars) allowed his worshipers to claim the losses were because Yahweh wasn't being recognized as the true god. Politics and religion.
