I call BS. Russia can’t even fight Ukraine much less the American Army. While we have become silly woke, we can still defeat Russia. Europe on the other hand may want to learn Russian. Trump warned them and they didn’t listen.
This is why we need to ditch nato. American civilians shouldn’t have to be prepared for a war over some eurotrash land conflicts. We’ve made that mistake far too many times. Let Europe resolve their own shit
I would value NATO more if it really was NATO and not just the US protecting Europe.

It would be hard for any country to invade us except Canada and Mexico. We are already being invaded by Mexico and Canada, lol. they’d just say they are sorry.

Even then, it’s still a total waste on our end. Barring situations that are so absurdly unrealistic they border on fictional “what ifs”, there’s nothing that could happen that would reasonably cause the US to rely on nato for defense that we don’t have the capabilities to do better ourselves.
I mean, all of these Russia-USA shenanigans are not really Europe’s fault. Since WWII the USA started influencing world politics, you can’t really say this is just eurotrash land conflict

The article basically says that citizens of NATO countries should be prepared in general. Think along the lines of WW2 style homefront production and recycling to support a “war effort”

The population of Russia is declining They peaked in the 90’s.
Build what they want, they won’t challenge America but they may challenge Europe. We just need to stay out of the fight until NATO wants to pay their dues.
