I’m quite happy with how this serialisation turned out. It’s not as unhinged as I hoped, but it’s still a fun read.

…and that’s it. I think the series had its ups and downs, but overall it has been good. If the TL is right and there is a spinoff based on the scientist character, then I hope they explore the world/setting more. I think that is an aspect of this story that was really underexplored. It basically only ever served as the thing that kept Misaki and Hareta apart. However, there were hints elsewhere in the story that the rules of this world are pretty messed up.
