It's unfortunatley really, really hard to get noticed whatsoever as an artist without social media these days if you don't have any industry connections.
You missed the whole point of the article. If you don’t have social media, you pretty much aren’t advertising yourself. (What will you do instead? Ask people who like your art to show it to friends and family? Putting up posters in the streets saying “Please look at my art”?) No advertisement, no new fans of yours. No new fans of yours, no money from your art.
Step 1: Completely ignore the blatant genocide happening in your feed or you will you will unleash the wrath of legions of McCarthyite sheep accusing anyone who dares to call it what it is an anti-Semite.
Sir this is a Wendy’s
You should install Linux.
I run NixOS. That doesn’t negate my point. I’m referring to the fact that every seller on Instagram pretends that nothing is happening, carrying on as if things are normal while they’re surrounded on my feed with atrocities. It makes them look incredibly tone deaf and (as the title alludes to) withou a soul.
wtf is that thread

I wish I'd read this article before Social Media destroyed my soul. Oh well.
and hey, seeing as the soulless need music now more than ever: go listen to my band's second album! https://songwhip.com/thethreeleonards Even if your soul has also been lost to Social Media I'm sure there will be something you enjoy.
See? Only a soulless artist would plug their art this shamelessly. :)

Wow, I've never heard music with such a stunning lack of soul before! 10/10 I bought every album.
