I’ve propagated a dozen different plants but this one just won’t happen for me. I’m using all the methods I’ve had success with elsewhere and always end with a dead vine.
I’ve tried right into soil, right into water. Letting a cutting dry overnight. Dabbing rooting hormones on it. Sharing a cup with other rooting plants. Nothing!
So if you’ve had success, what did you do? Did you find it any harder to propagate than others?

In water on a window-sill has worked in the past for me with that one. I make sure to cut close to the node, nor more than 1 cm under the node and I like to have at least 2 leaves on the stem. I leave the bottom node leafless. The window I put them on is south-east facing.

That sounds like my standard method! Sitting right next to the parent so I know it loved the conditions. I’m even struggling at my “prop station” with grow lights.
I feel like I could throw cuttings from any other monsteras on the floor and they’d somehow find a way to root so I’m starting to wonder if this plant is just an outlier.
