This is a first time I came across one of these and what a weirdo. I found it initially and it had the mother of all vulv…universal veils, I felt too icky typing that out.
I let it pop and I ended up with a big beautiful white mushrooms. They say it is edible but the whole growing out of the sack grossed me out on this one so I passed.
… Yeah, that is understandable. Great find! And I like the picture of the gills a lot
