Lenovo claimed in its lawsuit that it “has suffered, and continues to suffer, immediate and irreparable harm as a result of Defendants’ past and continuing infringement”
In its letter to the ITC, Lenovo argued no harm will befall US consumers if ASUS products are banned, given the Taiwanese company’s small share of the US PC market (2.9 percent in Q2 2023) means consumers will not be starved for alternatives.
So their 3% market share is causing lenovo irreparable harm? What a joke.

Welp, I guess Lenovo goes on my black list too then.

You would think Asus stole some super duper inventions from Lenovo. Those are some bullshit patents, the kind that was probably filed for shit and giggles by bored employees.

This is why I am against patents in their entirety
They allow anyone to gatekeep inventions that are supposed to be for the benefit of humanity so they can fuel their greed and capitalistic ego
I am in favour of abolishing patents entirely and replacing it with a system that recognises the pperson who invented the intention while allowing people to use them openly

Just now? Not after any of these? Or the fact that it’s controlled by China?
