I don’t have any bounties according to the kiosks, yet Freestar Collective and Akila Security fire on me on site. I have no idea why. Has anyone else run in to this? I’m not sure what to do other than constantly flee.
This happened to me once.
I forgot I had contraband on me and jumped to New Atlantis. I got scanned and asked to hand it over, so I just jumped out to The Den to sell the Contraband.
Add soon as I got there security started shooting me.
Had to load a previous save.
I don’t have any contraband that I’m aware of. The only ones who leave me alone are the United Collective.
In which case, go to Sol system. You can land on Venus and sleep in your ship’s bed for 24 local hour. A month or so will pass on Akila, which should give any combat alert time to expire.
Maybe stick your head into the Broken Spear in Cydonia on the way back and double check the bounty terminal there. Just to make doubly sure you don’t have a bounty.
I think that is a scripted sequence for getting “caught” and being asked to spy for something…?
I did just accept the spy assignment. Is that basically the only thing I can do for now?
I’m not sure…honestly I gave up on it and I’m waiting for the full modding kit to be released
Sorry, can you clarify what you mean by “on site”? Is this an outpost or one of the randomly generated landing sites on a planet?

Not sure if it’s intentional but I’ve noticed there are some ways to anger the security “faction” without getting a bounty - I think it’s when you do something directly to a guard (like intimidation ability) but are sneaking so don’t actually get caught doing it.
Exiting the area and sleeping for 48 UT hours should hopefully make them forget about you.
