    Sony’s doing a hell of a job at raising support and awareness for it right now

    John Deere has over the years as well. Tesla and Apple should have but luxury brands are good at convincing their users the abuse is what they’re paying for

    Push for municipal programs. See if you can rope in funding from e-waste management. There’s also a potential education aspect, so maybe funding from there.

    Keep product manuals and be picky with hardware choices.

      The product manuals one can’t be overstated. I recently got my hands on a functioning digital typewriter (which would be neat, because I don’t have my own printer, because modern consumer printers suck), but it’s barely usable because I can’t find a manual anywhere.
