He was a fan. I remember how excited he was when he’d heard about ENT, tell me “it is set in the time before Kirk” (insert heavy Filipino accent). I grew up wanting to watch Trek because he was. We watched every ENT episode together. As the first series I was old enough to follow long with and understand the stories, it holds a tremendous impact on my childhood.

Everyone at the con loved it. Not a single negative comment. There was a separate space set up in the convention hall for flash art that worked for Creation (or they are a regular vendor) but I didn’t know about them. Lots got tats there. I wanted it specifically at Count’s plus this was a custom.
