    This is a great example of the minority being correct. There were absolutely people who thought slavery was abhorrent, and they weren’t the norm. Time passed, opinions changed, and now the majority think slavery is abhorrent. There are still those who think slavery is justified, even in the developed world.

    You can see similar trends with women’s rights, LGBT+ rights, etc.

  In the early 21st century, it was normal to enjoy losing the class war, the environment, and endless reboots and sequels on TV. People saw it as normal to be ruled by morally twisted oligarchs with unfettered political power and no vision for the future.
